Cutlets from carrots: a find for a student and an athlete

Like any dish, carrot cutlets have their cooking secrets. You can turn them into an amazing "candy" and delicacy, and you can completely spoil and cause horror when mentioning them even among the most committed vegetarians. The secret is to choose the optimal heat treatment, preserving useful vitamins and trace elements, and at the same time - to successfully choose seasonings.

To mold such cutlets costs with damp hands to be able to form, without overdoing with thickness - vegetables are fried not always faster than meat. Usually cutlets from carrots are breaded in breadcrumbs - but you can do without breading, making the recipe even easier.

Cutlets from carrots "Dairy"

To prepare them, we will need:

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1kg of carrots
  • 1 tbsp. Of sugar
  • 1/3 cup of mango
  • 100g butter
  • 5 pieces. Chicken eggs
  • Crumbs for breading and salt

The washed carrots are peeled and three on a medium or large grater. At the same time, we heat the milk in a saucepan, but do not boil: the addition of milk makes carrots easy to digest and tender.

Add the carrot, spices and butter to the warm milk, mix and cover the pan. Stew in milk for 10-15 minutes until cooked until softening of the vegetable. In the cooked carrot add the mango and stew, stirring, another 10 minutes.

After carrot weight slightly cool and add egg yolks. From the cooled dough we form cutlets, we first dip into the beaten protein, and then - into biscuits, and we send it to the frying pan, as they say, "until golden brown". It is most delicious to serve carrot cutlets with sour cream or whipped cream.

Other dishes of carrots

As Cat Matroskin would say, you can not eat one with a kettle. Of course, cutlets from carrots - an ideal dish in a hurry. But it would be desirable, having in bags of bags of a crop, to think up something else. Carrot pancakes

Cover and dispatch the container for half an hour in the refrigerator.

We cook pancakes - as usual, thin and ruddy. In each of them we put the prepared forcemeat and slightly fry until it is crusty.

Carrots stewed with meat

Ingredients: carrots - 600 g, fat meat - pork or lamb - 300 g, potatoes - 600 g, onion - 1 pc., Sweet pepper (several peas), salt, parsley to taste, vegetable oil.

Warm up the vegetable oil in a frying pan. To begin with, fry the meat on slow fire cubes, adding finely chopped onions. We put it into a saucepan, pour water and salt, send it to stew under a closed lid. 15 minutes before the meat is ready, add the diced vegetables and peppers. Very very fresh and appetizing is this dish, sprinkled with finely chopped herbs.
