Interval training on an exercise bike for effective weight loss

Why does a person go to the gym? The question is rather rhetorical, as the answer is known to everyone - to train the body, to be healthy and to maintain oneself in good physical shape. In fact, of course, the goals are different: someone wants to have an ideal figure, and someone wants to get rid of excess weight. In the second case, the situation is not simple, because the physical exertion for those who want to lose weight is very, very different.

In the fitness clubs come people of different ages and different physical training, and sometimes even without it. However, for any individual, an acceptable training regimen can be made. If a person eagerly wants to lose weight, then a qualified instructor will recommend him interval training on a stationary bike.

In the system of aerobic exercise, these exercises have long established themselves as an effective tool for weight loss. What is their peculiarity and difference from ordinary aerobics?

Quite smooth movements at a moderate or rapid pace for 30-40 minutes with a large intake of oxygen - this is the usual training in the aerobics group, whether it's dancing or cycling on exercise bikes. But there are options: a person can long twist the pedals, imitating a walk on a bicycle, or engage in only 10-15 minutes, but alternate and very intense, and relatively quiet movements.

This is interval training. On the stationary bike it looks like this: first a very energetic rotation of the pedals in a short time, usually for one minute, and then there is a transition to a low speed, when a person is practically resting. The period of such occupations is much shorter than usual.

The alternation of intervals of different intensity has a very strong effect on the metabolism: it accelerates and in this state is maintained for several more hours - which is what those who want to lose extra pounds want. However, like other exercise systems, interval training on a stationary bike assumes regularity.

This does not mean that the more a person strains, the faster he will lose weight. Unprepared people make a big mistake, believing that the only way to achieve the goal is interval training. To burn fat, it's not enough just to pedal, but it's important to maintain the right rhythm of the entire training process.

It is recommended to alternate interval training on the stationary bike with the usual: in a week 2-3 sessions are enough. Then the body has time to regain strength, and weight loss occurs gradually, without prejudice to health.

Classes on exercise bikes are very popular among clients of fitness clubs. Bicycle racing in place not only effectively burns fats, but also forms a beautiful body. Even for a person with excess weight and accompanying health problems, interval training on the exercise bike is highly recommended, but with a gradual (!) Increase in loads.

Those who practice regularly, very soon begin to feel the beneficial effects of such a program on the body. At the same time, people with even greater pleasure attend training because they allow you to reach the goal and see the effect in a much shorter time.
