  2. Check the conformity of the new window unit. Examine the product, make sure there are no defects, check the correspondence of the window dimensions to the dimensions of the opening.

The distance from the inner corner of the window box to the fasteners should be 15 -18 cm, and between the fasteners - no more than 80 cm. It is customary to install no more than 2 fasteners on one side of the window block.
  5. If necessary, it is necessary to cover the frame with a special tape PSUL (pre-compressed sealing tape). If it is not used, then it is necessary to provide a gap between the quarter and the frame (5-20mm). At the end of installation, this gap must be filled with a sealant.
  6. Installation of windows in a wooden house must be carried out according to the level. This is required for good sealing and proper operation of the locking mechanisms.
  7. Fasten the lower and upper parts of the window unit using anchor plates or dowels. Conduct a control measurement of deviations, which should not exceed 1.5 mm per 1 m (both vertically and horizontally). Exceeding the permissible norm of deviations can significantly affect the durability of the insulating glass unit.
  8. With the help of mounting foam, seal the installation joint between the wall and the frame. In the event that the installation of windows in a wooden house is done without a PSUL tape, seal the seam on the outside with a sealant. This makes it possible to improve the thermal insulation characteristics.
  9. Install the drain (drainage profile), fixing it from the outside of the frame with screws. To improve thermal insulation and eliminate noise when rain falls on the ebb, fix it with a foam sealant (mounting foam).
  10. Hang the sash and install the opening handles. If the installation of windows in a wooden house was made using anchor bolts, they should be covered with decorative caps.
  11. Install the window sill with support technological wedges. Fix it with foam sealant.
  12. If necessary: install slopes, trim for windows, adjust fittings.

Incorrect installation of window blocks can lead to a change in the geometry of the window, the sagging of the flaps. As a consequence - the work of the locking mechanisms is broken, opening and closing the valves is difficult.
