Indicators of the quality of education as indicators of the quality of life of an individual

Indicators of the quality of life of a person today directly depend on which stage it is in the social pyramid, what place it occupies in society. They are expressed by the sum of incomes, life expectancy, social conditions and social security, the amount of working and free time, the quality of leisure.

What determines the indicators of the quality of life of the population both now and in the future? In modern society, the role of education has never been greater. The time when success depended only on the ability to break through or from accidental luck, has passed. The situation in the society in our time directly depends on where the person is working, and also on his professionalism.

Naturally, a person with a good education has more chances for a higher standard of living due to the opportunity to find a good job, satisfying his spiritual needs, appropriate to his skills, with more salaries, opportunities for development, with favorable working conditions.
Indicators of the quality of education - this is the level of knowledge obtained, through which a person finds his place in life. On how high these indicators are, the opportunities for applying knowledge in practice under specific conditions for improving the standard of living of a person directly depend. The main result of education is the practical application of the acquired knowledge.

Does the level of education of the individual affect the quality of his life? Scientists have found out that education, employment affect the duration of life. An educated person lives an average of 6 years longer than an uneducated peer. It provides better work, financial condition, better health.

The indicators of the quality of education are not always higher education. After all, the diploma is not the most important point in achieving success. The main thing is the demand for the profession in the labor market and its applicability for raising personal welfare. Here is an example: now there are many popular working specialties (for example, a gas welder, a concrete mixer driver, a forging blacksmith, etc.) that give a person with a secondary special education higher income than a graduate of a liberal arts university.

A specialty should give a person a material return in the form of a good salary and a social package. But secondary specialized education is still considered unpromising. But a representative of any profession can be happy. In society there is a well-established opinion that a good parent must necessarily give his child a higher education.

The quality of the education obtained depends also on the extent to which the future profession meets the interests, abilities and inclinations of the child, which will help him to adapt in life. Therefore, it is not at all necessary to fill up the young man with lessons, a lot of electives and knowledge, which may not be useful in the future.

Social values are constantly changing. Of course, the need for education in the modern world has increased enormously. The old, but generally incorrect, stereotype says today that a person without a diploma is a low-status one, and he has much less chances in his career and in life.

But the reality is that being a modern educated and highly professional worker with a good salary is perhaps more prestigious than an unpromising office worker. Not only working specialties, but also such as, for example, a diver, a sports instructor, a driver, give a very good social package and allow you to earn good money.

Thus, the indicators of the standard of living depend not only on the education received, not only on the personal qualities of the individual, but also on how correctly his profession is chosen: how much is demanded in modern society, how optimally are the human abilities and talents that enable him to self-actualize in professional activity.
