In the family

Creativity has united families with adopted children

At the end of November, within the framework of the social project "Big Family", a competition of creative works "In the family circle" was held. About one hundred families who adopted or took care of a child from a boarding school took part in the competition. The initiative of holding the competition belonged to Tatiana Anatolyevna Shapkina, an individual entrepreneur .

Modern social advertising reminds others that other people's children do not exist. And, judging by the fact that every year in Moscow about 2500 orphans are arranged in families, such advertising can be considered effective. However, everything has its flip side. In case of adoption and taking the child under guardianship, it is a large number of "refuseniks" children - those whom adoptive parents return to orphanages and shelters. This is due to the inability to find a common language with the child, a high degree of responsibility for the fate of a small person, which is difficult to grasp immediately, intolerance to the habits of yesterday's orphanage.
Is it worth writing about the fact that such a refusal from the child causes severe damage to his psyche and the family itself, which made an unsuccessful attempt to become foster parents.
Creative competition "In the family circle" was held with the support of the Department of Family and Youth Policy in Moscow in order to prevent cases of rejection of foster children and the strengthening of relations within substitute families.
The contest of creative works "In the family circle" was held in three stages, according to the nominations. The competition was attended by families with adopted children aged 10 to 14 years.
Summing up the results of the competition took place at the final exhibition of works in the club-hotel "Voskresenskoye". The authors of the best works awaited the solemn ceremony of awarding.
The publication of the album with the works of the winners finished the contest "In the family circle".
The organizers of the project expressed the hope that the competition will be a good tradition for families who have adopted orphans for the upbringing and will be held annually.
