The latter are used for the manufacture of bath ovens, as they are characterized by their overall dimensions and impressive metal thickness. For a sauna oven, which often works at high loads, this factor can not be called unimportant. If to use disks of the commercial or a car, it will be possible to make a wood-burning heater for a garage or a small stove for a shish kebab.

Preparation of tools

If you decide to make a hearth for a cauldron or a conventional oven using car disks, then you need to take care of the availability of tools, among them:

The back part needs to be closed with a metal sheet, to which the branch pipe of the chimney is welded. On this branch pipe, if desired, you can install a damper, it will allow you to adjust the thrust. However, the presence of a damper is not necessary if the furnace has a regulation of the air supply. To do this, in the front door, it is necessary to install a branch pipe with a flap with a spring-loaded axle. Inside the fin is a plate, which will divide the space into two parts. This technique will become more understandable if you become acquainted with the construction of the Bulerjan. From above there will be a secondary chamber, where the branch pipe of the chimney is welded. When a furnace is made from discs based on Bulerjan, the design can have any diameter, orientation in space and length. Everything will depend on the size of the disks and their number.

Making a large stove for a bath

To carry out such work, conventional drives from cars will not be enough, since they have a small diameter. It is best to stock up on old rims from the ZIL-130 truck. They will be used in the amount of 4. The elements must be positioned one above the other, each will perform its role. The first product will act as a hood for the combustion chamber. The sauna stove will have a small firebox made of bricks, it should be provided with doors that must go out into the waiting room. That wheel, where the water will be filled, should be freed from the hub. Bottom to the rim is welded the bottom of steel sheet, the thickness of which varies from 4 to 5 mm. In the central part, an opening is made, to which the lower end of the second pipe is welded, the opening must go into the tube and be sealed with walls.

When you make a stove from the discs for a bath, you can do without a brick furnace. In this case, it is arranged inside the first rim. However, the sauna will have to be heated from the steam room, in addition, the tightly fitting doors in the hull will make it much more difficult.

Features of the arrangement of rims

Firewood burning in the firewood will give its heat through the walls of the first rim, in which the bottom is carved. It is welded to the second disk, where the bottom is in place, thus it becomes possible to fill it with stones. Inside there is a pipe, through which combustion products will escape. The pipe must get inside the third rim, where instead of the bottom there is a gas separator. It is made of sheet metal. The last stage of cooling the gases passes inside the last rim, which looks like a tank with a crane and a lid. The furnace as a result works no worse than the factory models, and for durability it is even better than any of them.

Oven for kazan and shish kebab

The oven for cauldron can also be used as a brazier. This device can be made of only two disks from the wheels of the car. If you need a larger design, there are no restrictions, you can use the wheels from GAZ-53 and UAZ. In one of them the bottom is cut, and after the rim are welded together. The unit must be installed reliably on any surface, for this purpose the legs are strengthened to the lower section using a welding machine. Hole holes for the hub must be damped, while the side holes are left, through them the air will penetrate into the furnace. In order to carry the case it was convenient, to it from outside to weld the handles, and in the lateral part to make an opening for the installation of the door. The latter should be made of a piece that seats on the hinges. We can assume that the oven from the discs is ready for this. As practice shows, it can accommodate Kazan, and if necessary - five skewers with meat.

A homemade stove from the discs at the top should have an iron bottom. The thickness of the steel plate should be 8 mm. This capacity will be used to heat water. The question of tightness

When the furnace is made from KamAZ disks or any other brands of cars, it is important to weld the joints of the structure as reliably as possible. This is due to the fact that during the operation of the device the smoke will penetrate through the cracks and get inside the bath. This can not be called pleasant and safe. Much attention should be given to the joints. After a certain period of use of the furnace from the effects of high temperatures, gaps can form on it, but they can be easily eliminated by treating them with clay and also sprinkling dry sand on top. This will allow us to detect new cracks in time.

Before starting to operate the furnace from car disks, it is necessary to treat it with paint, which is resistant to fluctuations in high temperatures. The upper part of the design is important to pay special attention, because it is there where the liquid evaporates. In this case, the metal loses its quality characteristics and is corroded. The chimney pipe will best be supplemented with a sheet of stainless steel. Hot water will adversely affect any design. Below there should be no wooden cover, it is important to install the construction on the refractory surface. In front of the room with the firebox, a refractory shield should be installed, which looks like an iron sheet with dimensions of 20x30 cm. The width should be slightly larger than the door itself. On the perimeter of the bottom, additional insulation should be installed. And the gap between the insulation and the furnace is usually covered with dry sand, which is laid on top by stones.
