Have you ever tried a chicken salad with prunes?

Recently, salads with fruits, dried fruits and nuts - salad from beef or chicken salad, with prunes, pineapple, walnut, etc., have gained popularity in Russia. Prunes are one of the most delicious and often used in various salads dried fruits, its universal qualities are used not only in desserts, but also in second dishes and salads. How to prepare a salad with chicken and prunes?

There are a lot of recipes for this salad. There are recipes with mushrooms, with carrots and onions, with cucumbers, cheese, walnuts dressed with mayonnaise or vegetable oil, layered or mixed. We will give two recipes for this salad, but both require boiling the chicken in salted water, and prunes in hot water.

Salad with pickled cucumber and walnuts

500gr boiled chicken (without the skin) cut into slices or finely split, cut into straws 1 salted cucumber, finely chopped or on a large grater we rub 2 boiled large eggs, cut into thin straws softened prunes, shake 1 glass of walnuts. All the ingredients are put in a deep salad bowl, season with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly. We send it to the refrigerator for a couple of hours, after which the salad can be served on the table.

Chicken salad with prunes and hard cheese

400gr chicken breast finely cut into cubes, also finely chopped and 200gr prunes, 150gr cheese hard varieties rubbed on a grater (preferably large or medium). One carrot rubbed on a grater, 2 onions finely chopped and all this fry in vegetable oil. After roasting, it is necessary to drain the vegetable oil residues from the vegetables. Next, all the ingredients of the salad are laid in layers, which are slightly lubricated with mayonnaise. The first layer is chicken breast, then prunes, then carrots with onions, the last layer is laid cheese. From above you can decorate with prunes.

Meat salad with prunes in line

300gr of prunes (without pits) soak in hot water, and then dry and cut into strips. 300gr of boiled meat (beef) cut into small cubes (not more than half a centimeter). 3-4 large eggs and 2 large potatoes are boiled, cooled and cleaned. We rub separately yolk, separately protein, and potatoes we cut the same cubes, as well as meat. One head of onions is cut into thinly semicircles, one large sour apple is rubbed on a grater (medium or large).

Ingredients are laid in layers: 1) potatoes, onions, egg white - is filled with mayonnaise and mixed, 2) apple, 3) meat, 4) prunes. Everything is filled with mayonnaise, and the top is sprinkled with grated yolk. Salad leave for 2 hours at room temperature, and then for 4-5 hours, remove the infusion in the refrigerator. Before consumption, you can decorate the salad with chopped greens.

Salad with beets and prunes on weekdays

For a salad you need 1kg of beets, 350gr of prunes, 1 glass of walnuts, a pair of cloves of garlic and mayonnaise. Beets need to be thoroughly washed and boiled. The peculiarity of beet boiling is that you do not need to cut anything to preserve a saturated color. Readiness is checked with a knife, if it enters freely into the flesh of beets, then it's time to switch off, get out and cool. Cooled beets rubbed on a grater. Prunes are finely chopped with straws, walnuts are crushed. Garlic can be finely chopped, grated finely, or garlic. All the ingredients are mixed and dressed with mayonnaise, decorated with finely chopped greens or nuts.
