The Air group was created by two people who met at school. In the eighties they were pupils of the lyceum of Jules Ferry. Young people loved music. Together with friends, they initially organized the Orange group. The team offered their demos to record companies, but without success.

Nicholas, discouraged by failure, began to receive the education of an architect. At the same time he continued to work hard on the synthesizer. Air Group began its history in 1995. Group Air became a duet after Nicholas got together again with Jean-Benoit Dyunkel, a companion of the Orange project. The seventy-year-old composer with a colossal creative fuse participates in the creation of compositions Remember and Cosmic Bird. In parallel, in 1997 Jean-Benois and Nicolas rented a studio in the suburbs of Paris and started recording their first full-length album.
