What are the working conditions. About harmful working conditions

In this article, without going into the in-depth technical details, we will consider the various working conditions. What does the term mean here? We will talk at once: this is the situation in the workplace, the state of the room according to various parameters. From the conditions in the workplace depends on the health of the employee, the psychoemotional state, as well as the mood.

Mines and rooms without windows

Premises without windows, basement floors and a dungeon affect the human body in different ways. Undoubtedly, not everyone can work in a deep mine. But someone better that on the third floor of the warehouse building the workplace was in a room without windows, so as not to see what is happening on the street.

It can be noted that it is difficult to work in the same mine or in the metro in a deep-seated station, so there will be harmful working conditions. And it's not just a drop in atmospheric pressure, but also an overestimated concentration of dust. So that not only the vessels suffer, but also the lungs.

Screws, cold and humidity

Important factors associated with the climatic conditions in the room (on work on the street we'll talk later). The employer should not spare money for the health of the workers. If in a room in winter the temperature drops below 17 degrees, then it is necessary to put a heater or central heating. Any drafts must also be eliminated. Normal and healthy working conditions are impossible in the heat. Take care that your employees are provided with air conditioning or a fan, and the windows facing the sunny side have blinds or curtains.

The humidity in the room is important, it should not be very dry, especially where dust can not be eliminated. In this case, you can put the humidifier.

Furniture and lighting

The workplace should be light, comfortable and not very cramped. Under no circumstances should an employee perform his duties on a broken chair, a staggering table or without bright light.

Tightness in the room, as well as clutter, can lead to fatigue, injury. The conditions of work (labor) must be fulfilled strictly according to the general rules of labor protection.

Fire safety

Undoubtedly, in each room there must be a working fire extinguisher with an unexpired expiration date. Remember that after the expiration date indicated in the tag, the fire extinguisher must be recharged. For office and warehouse premises, a universal one is suitable. And where there is a large number of electrical installations, wiring, you need a powder.

Access to the bathroom

Everyone has a need to wash their hands, to go to the toilet. Therefore, there must necessarily be access (especially free) to the bathroom. In no case should the worker be prevented from traveling when necessary. Remember that you can not stand it for long, because infectious and non-infectious diseases can develop, and headaches may occur. And it's impossible to work with a full bladder.

Lunch breaks

Have you heard of gastritis? Why does it appear in people? Is it only because the food was stuffed with harmful additives? No. A lot depends on the mode of food intake. If you are registered with an employee in an employment contract, that he has lunch from 12.00 to 13.00, then this item must be strictly observed. Do you want the worker to suffer from a sick stomach?

Take care that your office or company has clean water. For example, coolers or water purification filters. Any person should consume clean water in the required quantities. After all, working conditions depend on the ability to use the elements necessary for the body.

A room for eating or a lunch corner should be equipped with a kettle, fridge and microwave. Not every employee can afford to go to a cafe or a canteen, or maybe someone prefers home-cooked meals.

Dangerous and harmful production

Construction, transport, electrical installations and power lines, mountains and mines, rubble - this is only a minimal list of hazardous activities. Every employee should be instructed in the painting. It is necessary to take exams and obtain the appropriate certificate. No employee should be allowed to work independently without training, overalls and protective accessories.

The conditions of work, works that are connected with the street, large rooms, mines should be as safe as possible. Without any working elements (overalls, helmet, warning waistcoat and other), the employee does not have the right to start work.

Labor protection also requires the employee to go through a medical examination to find out whether he is fit to work, whether any chronic diseases have appeared due to the profession.

And if this is impossible

This point is more relevant to the workers themselves. If the employer does not provide normal working conditions, then you can apply to the supervision of labor protection, collect an independent commission, contact the higher organizations. And if in the workplace all the conditions are met, then think, maybe it's time for you to change your profession.
