External Sexual Organs: Male Diseases

It is statistically established that every year male diseases occur in ever younger people. If before an adenoma of the prostate , for example, men suffered after 60 years, today the disease is younger: the average age of the sick is 40-45 years. More and more men suffer from cancer, infertility, impotence, other problems associated with the state of male organs.

In the light of such statistics, it is very important, at least superficially, to get acquainted with what are the diseases of male genital organs, to understand their symptoms.

As you know, reproductive organs in men are divided into internal and external. Internal testes include the testicles along with the appendages, the prostate gland, the Cooper glands, the vas deferens, the seminal vesicles. The external organs are represented by the scrotum and penis.

Male diseases can affect both internal and external organs.

Among external diseases in men, most often there is orchitis, dropsy testicles, epididymitis, short frenulum of the penis, tumors.

Orchitis, epididymitis, some other male diseases, the symptoms of which, in general, are similar, arise from infection from the urinary system or prostate (if they are inflamed). In addition, such diseases can be the effects of influenza, angina, other infectious diseases.

If the inflammation occurs in an acute form, then the man can have very unpleasant and very painful sensations in the groin, testicles, in the lower abdomen. Usually, most men so painfully suffer from inflammation that they immediately go to the doctor, which is perfectly correct. However, there are also chronic, sluggish infections that do not cause sharp pain. In this case, patients try to do without a doctor. A self-medication or lack of treatment can lead to impotence or infertility.

Usually, a doctor who treats men's diseases, appoints patients with a suspension and a course of antibiotics.

On the external organs may form dropsy. It can usually be seen immediately: on the testicle shell or at the base of the seed can appear an elongated elongated swelling, which decreases when the man lies down. A dropsy is usually congenital, but it can appear as a result of an injury. Treat it operatively.

Most often in men, there is a short frenulum of the penis. This is, rather, not a disease, but an unpleasant feature that can lead to rupture of external tissues, bleeding, curvature of the penis. Treat the feature surgically, and the operation rarely takes more than half an hour. Immediately after it, a man can lead a familiar and enjoyable lifestyle, but from intimate relationships he will have to abstain until the healing of the scar (about 10 days).

Today, increasingly, representatives of the strong half of mankind are affected by male diseases associated with the appearance of neoplasms or tumors of the external genitalia.

In principle, tumor diseases in men today are cured quickly and reliably, but only if the disease is not started. That's why men should systematically conduct self-examination, listen to their feelings and as often as possible undergo a preventive examination.

Symptoms of the appearance of a tumor are manifold. A person can feel heaviness in the groin and in the testicles. Below the abdomen, the penis or testicles may form seals or thickenings, which sometimes (but not always) are accompanied by unpleasant sensations.

To the calming of men, it should be noted that, according to statistics, in 90% of cases, these symptoms will indicate the presence of dropsy or other, not such a terrible disease. But sometimes it can be cancer. Only the doctor can answer precisely.
