Elections in Azerbaijan

The whole country is preparing for the presidential elections. This event will be held on October 9, 2013. Our pre-election campaign is organized. I want to note that a lot of cases have been done recently in Azerbaijan. The country's economy is developing rapidly, the well-being of the people is improving. New educational institutions, public health institutions, residential buildings are being built. All infrastructure, the face of the country is changing. The country is carrying out structural and qualitative changes in foreign economic relations. Azerbaijan confidently integrates into the world economy, cooperates with foreign countries. Such cooperation is an important factor in the formation and development of the national economy. It is no coincidence that Azerbaijan is a member of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Islamic Bank and the Asian Development Bank. The Republic of Azerbaijan became a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Azerbaijan is also a member of the Organization and Democratic Development of GUAM. Members of GUAM, except Azerbaijan, are Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova. It should be noted that Azerbaijan has also become a member of several Islamic organizations. The most prestigious of these is the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC). This organization includes the most members and all Islamic countries. The Organization of the Islamic Conference is the first organization of regional importance, to which Azerbaijan integrated after the restoration of its independence.

The country's economic potential , raw materials, mineral reserves, natural conditions and resources, as well as favorable economic and geographical position, contribute to increased cooperation. Despite the global crisis, inflation in the country is not felt, the price increase is insignificant, the national currency is stable. Sometimes in different areas there is a decline in prices. Thanks to the conducted activities in the country, at present Azerbaijan not only imports various products, but also exports its own products.

The basis of the economy of Azerbaijan is the oil and gas sector. Due to international oil and gas contracts , oil and gas production has increased in recent years. According to these contracts, work is under way to explore new deposits. At present, the Republic of Azerbaijan exports oil, oil products, oil equipment, cotton, tobacco, alcohol, refrigerators, air conditioners, chemical products, non-ferrous metals, and in exchange imports food products (oil, flour, sugar, grain), vehicles, industrial equipment , Forest products, light industry goods, etc.

Foreign investments are involved in the country's economy, which are an integral part of the country's economic development strategy. This is facilitated by the political stability and economic development of the republic. Azerbaijan has established a free trade regime with a number of CIS countries, a legal framework for free investment has been created. Foreign investment funds were sent and sent to various industries. These investments are also directed to the development of agriculture, especially for land reclamation and the water sector.

Youth centers are being created, where young people can spend their free time.

Particular attention is paid to the development of physical culture and sports. Recently, new and modern sports facilities have been commissioned in the capital of Baku and regions. Azerbaijan is preparing for the holding of the First European Olympic Games. In a word, the state of affairs before the eyes.

In the country, all nations live on an equal footing. The interests of all nations and peoples are taken into account. Various centers of small nations are being created.
