Disability registration is not a sentence, but a continuation of life

If the direction for examination is denied, the citizen will receive a document in his hands, with which he can independently turn to ITU specialists.

So, when applying for medical and social expertise, you must provide the following documents:

1. A document proving the identity (passport), and for children under 14 years of age - a birth certificate.

2. If necessary, a document confirming the rights of the legal representative.

3. Written application.

4. Direction (according to the form №080 / у-06).

This package of documents is sent to the ITU bureau, where they are registered, and the citizen is given an invitation for the forthcoming survey.

Examination can be conducted without the presence of the patient, in the hospital, at home. During it, experts assess the patient's health and the degree of restriction of his life. The decision to recognize a disability or refusal is taken by voting between ITU specialists.

In the case of a positive decision of the examination, the disability assignment is certified by the following documents:

1. Help in which the disability group is written .

2. A list of incapacity for work with an indication of the decision of the ITU (if any).

3. Individual rehabilitation program.

The document on the ITU decision is sent to the Pension Fund, where the allowance corresponding to the disability group will be assessed.

Refusal to register a disability can be challenged at the ITU Main Office. It is enough to file an application for appealing the decision to the local medical and social expertise. Not later than 30 days, a second examination will be carried out.

The decision of the commission on such procedure, as registration of disability, can also be appealed through the USZN or insist on conducting an independent examination. The last instance of appeal is the court. His decision will be final.

Re-examination of a disabled person

In advance, you can make a confirmation of disability, but not earlier than 2 months before the expiry of the due date. The basis for this is the statement of the citizen (his representative).

Invalids of group I underwent a reassessment every two years, II and III groups - annually, children with disabilities - once in the period established by the category "disabled child".

Permanent disability registration is possible only in accordance with the established procedure in accordance with the Resolution (List) No 247, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation (dated April 7, 2008).

Disability is established without re-examining citizens who have reached retirement age (men over 60, women - 55 years), disabled persons with an irreversible course of the disease or the presence of anatomical defects.
