Earrings made of plastic: juicy lemon

Polymer clay can be of two types: one that freezes and withers just in the air and one that needs to be baked in the oven. Today we will work with the material that will need to be dried in the oven.

To make earrings from plastic in the form of juicy ripe yellow lemon, we need the following:

• Multi-colored polymer clay (white, transparent, yellow, green);
• sandpaper;
• blade;
• Rolling pin;
• Pins and toothpicks;
• Colorless varnish;
• Special accessories for earrings.

We make earrings from plastic: we mix two clays - transparent and white to a homogeneous mass, then in this mixture we gradually add yellow clay until the color becomes as much as possible like lemon. The resulting mass is rolled into a ball and we divide it by a blade into ten equal parts, five in each half. Now white plastic is rolled out with a rolling pin into a strip. Its width should be equal to the height of the ball.

We cut the white clay into slices and insert them into the cut of the ball. We squeeze the middle of the ball gently with a toothpick and insert a twisted lace from the clay. This is the core of our lemon. Combine both halves of the lemon and wrap them on the outside with a thin layer of white plastic. This should be done very carefully and carefully so that there are no air bubbles between the layers, otherwise they will break or become separated from each other when heated in the oven.

Now it's time to make a skin of polymer clay. To do this, we need to mix yellow and transparent colors in the following proportion: two-thirds of the yellow color we take one third of the transparent and quite a bit of green. If you do not have a green color, you can easily get it by mixing blue plastic with yellow in proportion to seven to one. Roll the clay into a strip and wrap it around the lemon.

Then squeeze the lemon until the roll is about half a centimeter wide.

Earrings made of plastic are almost ready. We cut the resulting roll into small pieces with a width of about 0.4 centimeters. Each side of the lemon is tightened with a yellow skin.

With the help of toothpicks and nazhdachki we give the lemon the necessary roughness and uneven surface.

Carefully cut the blade with a thin lemon in half.

A pin or a needle forms a hole for the accessories.

Pass holes in the holes. Earrings from plastic are baked in the oven on a glass surface at a temperature of 100-130 degrees. We give the earrings to cool down and pass through the holes purchased accessories. We cover them with a colorless varnish.
