Butterflies with their own hands - beautiful and simple!

Today we will consider what is needed to make this cute decor element and how, in fact, do butterflies with their own hands. First, we will prepare materials and tools that will be needed in the process of work.

We need:

- Aluminum or copper wire , thin enough and flexible;

- kapron tights, you can use worn out;

- Aniline dye for synthetic fabrics (if the color of nylon for some reason does not suit you);

- an old pencil or a cocktail tube;

- glue "Moment" helium or silicone gun;

- a needle with a thread of suitable color;

- clerical glue with sparkles or patches.

Before you start working, nylon can be dyed in the desired color and dried.

Depending on what size we have a butterfly, we need to choose a rigid shape for making wings. You can take a glass, a glass jar and even a large saucepan, if you are going to make a butterfly suit with your own hands. We wrap the wire around the mold, fix the resulting circle with two or three turns of wire and repeat the same action to get "glasses". Such pieces, we need two pieces to make wings. Any form can be given to them, but sharp edges should be avoided so that the fabric can evenly tighten the resulting frame.

Butterflies with their own hands are most easily obtained from nylon, but you can use any thin knitted fabric, which is easily draped. With a prepared flap we tighten the workpieces and fix the fabric with a thread around the base of the wing. Surplus material carefully trimmed and connect the upper and lower pairs of wings a few stitches.

The "body" of our craft should close the seams and give it a finished look, so you need to calculate its correct size. To do this, take a pencil or a tube and cut off the fragment of the desired length. Cut off the fabric wraps the workpiece, overlay the top layer gently and glue it. To have a butterfly appeared antennae, we pass a small piece of wire through the edge of the body and fix it with glue. The shape of the antennae can be given any, and the ends decorate with beads or pawns.
