Not enough air. Causes of dyspnoea

A lot of reasons lead to shortness of breath. Often this state, when there is not enough air, arises from diseases of the cardiovascular system. However, various external factors can influence the development of the disease.

Depending on the cause of the development of the state, some or other measures are taken to alleviate it.

The feeling of lack of air is accompanied by various signs. In a person with shortness of breath, the head, as a rule, is tilted downward. This is due to a lack of oxygen in the muscles and tissues. When there is not enough air, it becomes very difficult for a person to concentrate his attention and focus his vision. He also tries not to say long phrases, to breathe deeply.

Occurrence of separate characteristic signs is a signal to an immediate reference to the doctor for help. A condition where there is not enough air can be accompanied by:

- wheezing and wheezing sounds during breathing;

- soreness in the chest, a feeling of constriction;

- the rest position does not bring relief;

- difficulty in swallowing food;

- There is a sense of presence in the throat of a foreign body.

To the occurrence of such a disease lead, in addition to diseases of the cardiovascular system, complications after the transferred angina or influenza. Throughout these ailments, the heart muscle does not do well with its function. In this regard, the organs and tissues receive insufficient amounts of oxygen-enriched blood.

Many people suffering from bronchial asthma often complain that they do not have enough air. This condition, as a rule, is a consequence of allergies. In addition, it is important to adhere to the correct diet, as well as control over obesity. Pulmonary diseases, pathologies of various origins, increased blood pressure - all this can be the reason why there is not enough air.

Often, the state of human breathing is affected by domestic factors. As practice shows, in a crowded place there is much less fresh air. For example, in the metro, the concentration of carbon dioxide increases with every minute. And the influx of fresh air is very small. Therefore, when the first symptoms of difficulty breathing (dyspnea) is recommended to go to the nearest stop.

They do not have oxygen transmittance and have become very popular plastic windows. In such rooms it is recommended to make regular ventilation, and if possible, leave an open window. Great attention must be given to the state of the air in the bedrooms and children's rooms.

It should be noted that the symptoms of lack of air can manifest themselves in a completely healthy person. So, for example, experts do not recommend after a long run just to go to bed or sit down. It should be a bit like, and only then take a calm position. The fact is that the breathing and rhythm of the heart should come back to normal gradually, and not immediately rebuilt to absolute calm.

In addition, experts do not recommend smoking and suffering diseases, especially catarrhal and cardiovascular, "on the feet."

Dyspnea is one of the serious consequences of heart ailments. This unpleasant sensation arises even with minor physical exertion in people who are prone to the development of cardiac diseases. Specialists define dyspnea as a protective physiological device, through which oxygen deficiency is replenished and the accumulated excess of carbon dioxide is released.

This condition can occur after eating, exercise, and in severe cases - at rest.
