I would like to pleasantly surprise guests with something new and show off their culinary talent. It so happened that most often from the bird is preparing a chicken. But today we suggest that you step back a little from the usual direction and prepare another treat. Let's bring a little variety. We will share a few recipes for the most delicious dishes, in which the duck will be used. In honey-mustard sauce it is especially tasty.

Duck in honey-mustard sauce

The combination of products such as honey and mustard is already unusual in itself. But in fact, this marinade will give a beautiful crust to a bird, add piquant taste and flavor to meat. Duck in mustard sauce is prepared very simply and does not require special culinary skills.

You will need:

  • Carcass of duck;
  • salt pepper;
  • 2 tablespoons each. Honey (liquid) and mustard.

How to cook:

Wash the duck well and dry it. Mix salt and pepper and grate the bird well inside and out. If desired, you can add your favorite spices. In a separate bowl, stir the mustard with honey and grease the duck with this marinade (inside too).

The trays are lubricated with oil, we put a duck on it and send it to the oven (180-200 ° C). Periodically water the carcass with excreting fat, it will be in plenty on a baking sheet. Duck in honey and orange sauce

An unusual duck recipe in honey sauce with orange peel, but it will certainly suit you to taste. We will add a little garlic with ginger, so that the flavor and flavor are more spicy.

You will need:

  • 1 kg of duck meat;
  • 1 lemon;
  • ½ orange;
  • 3 clove of garlic;
  • 2 tablespoons Honey;
  • vegetable oil;
  • 1 tbsp each. Apple cider vinegar and soy sauce;
  • Some fresh ginger, salt and pepper.

How to cook:

Add honey, and when it becomes liquid, add the vinegar and zest. Hold on for another three minutes, stirring constantly. Let's eat soy sauce, squeezed lemon juice and a couple tablespoons of water. We'll cook another 5 minutes.

We put the meat of the duck in the prepared sauce and take it a little on the fire so that it will be absorbed by it. Duck in honey sauce is ready, you can invite to the table.

Duck with apples in honey-mustard sauce

This dish will look great on the Christmas table. There are no difficulties in its preparation, and a duck in mustard sauce, and even with apples - just delicious.

You will need:

  • Whole duck;
  • 2 tablespoons each. Honey and mustard;
  • 3 apples (sour);
  • Salt, pepper, turmeric.

How to cook:

We will wash the bird and carefully dry it. Mix the salt, pepper and ½ tsp. Turmeric. With this mixture we rub the carcass inside and out.

We cut the apples into slices and stuff them with a duck. The edge of the skin is fastened with a toothpick. It remains our bird to grease a mixture of mustard and honey.

  • 100 grams of dried apricots and prunes;
  • 2 tablespoons each. Mustard and honey;
  • Salt, pepper and favorite spices.

How to cook:

We will wash the bird and dry the towel. Mix the dry spices with the salt and eat them well with our bird. For the filling we mix: chopped apples, dried apricots and prunes. With this mixture fill the belly of the bird and fix the skin with a toothpick. Carefully miss the whole carcass with a mixture of honey and mustard. We send it to the oven for an hour.
