What it is?

By the way, what is it? This is a special material made of wood, cement and mineralizing additive. It is made of the so-called "wood wool", which is a chopped chips of coniferous wood (length of six to nine centimeters). Once upon a time using the same technology, an arbalite was produced. In contrast, in these plates today, technology is used for the multidirectional arrangement of chips: the upper and lower rows are arranged along, while the middle row is across. The name DSP stands for "cement-chipboard".

Characteristics

According to this indicator, it exceeds the above-mentioned EAF by three times. Unfortunately, its flexibility is far from perfect, but it is unparalleled in stability and compressive strength.

All layers are impregnated with a mixture of cement and mineralizing additives. It is on them that another important characteristic, moisture resistance, depends. Unlike other particle board, DSP can be successfully used in exterior decoration of houses.

Thus, the DSP plate, the characteristics of which are so good, perfectly combines the qualities of natural and synthetic materials.

Due to modern technologies it is possible to achieve almost complete homogeneity of chips. This completely eliminates the formation of internal defects and voids. In addition, too fine material is screened: this achieves significant savings in the adhesives.

The most important characteristics of OSB boards are their complete immunity to decay, fungi and mold. In addition, they practically do not burn. And one more reason, thanks to which the DSP plate is used: its characteristics are such that it practically does not absorb moisture from the ambient air. It is this property that underlies the application of this material in roofing construction. Experts say that today nothing better has been invented for this purpose. In addition, it is possible to build something more substantial from it!

In general, DSP, technical characteristics of which differ simply by excellent indicators, has become one of the best bases for frame-panel houses, the volume of construction of which is constantly increasing every year. In addition, it is easily fed to processing and cutting with standard tools for wood. Ideal for the fastening of structures from DSP boards are standard screws.

Regarding the financial side of the issue, the standard DSP board, whose characteristics are so good, is ideal even if your construction budget is limited.
