Device For Work: How to Successfully Pass an Interview

What interview can be considered successful? Naturally, then, after which the applicant received the desired post. The recruitment process is a very responsible and important process, therefore it is necessary to prepare for it in advance

Three stages on the way to a career

Before you have an interview for a job, you need to have an initial telephone conversation with the employer . During telephone conversations it is very important to make an appropriate impression - this is the first stage of personal communication with a potential boss. Maybe, of course, that at this stage the secretary of the organization will communicate with the applicant, but in this case he will necessarily share his opinion about the caller candidate with the employer. The recruitment to work will be all the more probable if during the preliminary interview by phone the competitor shows himself to be proactive and interested in obtaining this or that post. To do this, you need to ask questions: about the vacancy and opportunities for career growth, about the employer (his name, first name and patronymic), necessarily - about the exact address of the company and the time for which the interview is scheduled. In addition, information may be useful about whether you will have to pass any tests or fill out questionnaires.

On how to pass an interview for work in such a way as to ensure a job for which the applicant is claiming, has been said repeatedly. The main thing remains one: to communicate with a potential employer you must carefully prepare. First, you need to take care of documents that you may need for an interview: CV (2 copies), passport, diplomas and certificates (university, additional education, courses). However, it must be remembered that you should take with you only those documents that are relevant to professional skills that allow you to qualify for a particular position. Then you can get acquainted with the information about the company, study the direction of its activities, successes, to demonstrate the interviewed knowledge, highlighting its interest in cooperation.

The job will be more successful if the applicant comes to the meeting a little earlier than the appointed time, will be able to answer the most slippery questions (usually the questions about the desired salary or the reasons for leaving the previous place of work). Of course, you need to be able to clearly articulate your advantages over other candidates, highlight advantages, and tell about achievements.

In no case can negatively speak about their former colleagues or bosses - employers prefer to hire people who are flexible and loyal, who rely only on themselves and confident in their own abilities. The length of the story about yourself should not exceed 2-3 minutes - everything else to the person conducting the interview is no longer interesting. In order to successfully pass the interview, you need to answer clearly and briefly the questions, as well as ask them yourself. But not about wages and not on a working schedule - such details can be specified only after the employer says directly (or will make it clear) that the applicant will be accepted for office.

The third stage of a successful interview is appearance. As you know, they are always met "on clothes", so a job is a serious reason to take care of neat and clean clothes. Depending on the seriousness of the position for which the candidate claims, you can choose a strict business suit or simply ironed shirt and trousers. Of course, this does not guarantee obtaining desired work, which is more dependent on professional skills and experience, but in comparison with other candidates, a neat competitor will look more promising.
