The capital of the glorious Tatarstan celebrates its birthday on August 30. Traditionally, a lot of entertaining and game programs are planned for this day. What pleased Kazan citizens and visitors in 2013?

A very extensive and interesting program was waiting for residents and guests on City Day. Kazan was glorified since the morning in the park of Privolzhsky district - the program was called "I love you, my Kazan!".

By 11 am people were waiting for fans of folk art and fans of the program "Play, accordion!" In a large square near the TGAT them. G. Kamala. It was here that they were awarded the Prize. Tukay state level.

At the same time, but already in another place, in the green park "Black Lake", a holiday for children "Kazan - the city of the future" started. Children were not bored, with might and main participated in various contests, master classes and sports competitions, and their parents enjoyed enjoying the performance of Tatar pop stars.

Day of the city in the museum

The National Museum of Tatarstan prepared the program "Priceless Stories of the Page" on the City Day "Kazan 2013". For almost the entire day, the guests of the museum could participate in the super-game "In Search of Treasures", which in an entertaining form acquainted with the expositions of this museum. Organized thematic excursions, practical master classes on several kinds of crafts and medieval dances. Visitors could freely inspect stock shows and listen to lectures on unique rarities stored in the museum's collections. For the youngest visitors, the museum staff organized a children's playground, and for fans of modern computer technology - IT-park.

Kazan Hippodrome

In the equestrian sports complex of the highest level, there were jumps on horses to the Prize of the President of Tatarstan, traditionally held on City Day. Kazan hosted the participants of the competitions, which came from all regions of Russia: Perm Krai, Bashkiria, Moscow, Tyumen, Samara, Kirov and other regions. The races took place in three arrivals.

On the square of the 1st of May the fascinating program "Zilantkon" was prepared, prepared by the team of the fantasy convention and role games. Everyone who wanted to, tried themselves in safe battles with weapons and master classes, looked at the competitions of archers and took part in the festival of crafts. Also, City Day "Kazan-2013" brought together fans to sing in karaoke and play in theatrical miniatures.

Evening program

Before the Farmers' Palace, on the square, at 8 pm, the Third Festival of the opera "Kazan Autumn" began, accompanied by the famous symphonic orchestra of Tatarstan. Everyone could enjoy the bewitching singing of the famous guests of the festival - Albina Shagimuratova and Dmitri Hvorostovsky.

From Latvia guests also arrived to participate in the famous concert on the City Day. Kazan was visited by the Brainstorm group. Musical groups from all over Tatarstan and from the capital of the republic also took part in the concert.

In places where mass events were held, as well as on the streets nearby, parking for private vehicles was banned. The car owners, who decided to take a chance and leave their four-wheeled friends in a forbidden place, waited for an unpleasant surprise: the cars were evacuated to the parking lot. City transport on this day worked until midnight.

The City Day ended with a grand salute. Kazan thus thanked all residents and guests who took part in the celebration.
