Crab roll and other lavash snacks: delicious and quick

Perhaps, it is rare that a feast is dispensed with without such "conservative" salads as olive and crab. What can you do about it, when you want to fantasize, but the pre-holiday fuss always takes a lot of time. With such a noble purpose, as satisfying and tasty to feed the guests, lavash rolls will do fine . These snacks are made with different fillings, the ingredients for which are selected in such a way that they are surprisingly in harmony with each other.

But before you start to cook a crab roll, I want to say a few words about the pita bread. As you understand, it should be Armenian lavash. This is the one that is thin-puffy and is sold on three sheets in a package. In order for your snack to turn out as it should, you only need the freshest bakery product. When buying, pay attention to both the date of manufacture and whether the packing cellophane package is torn. Lavash has a property very quickly stale, and with wrapping in such a product fillings can cause problems - the sheet can break and, as luck would have it, in the most inappropriate, central place. Do not get too loose and bubbly Armenian lavash. Ideally - try to find lavash called "Elite". It is also thin and sold just wrapped in transparent cellophane, however one is very long with a sheet that can then be cut with kitchen scissors. There are practically no bubbles and roasting places in this bread, and it is somehow tastier and stronger.

Crab Roll: recipe

To cook a crab roll, prepare 100 grams of crab meat in addition to pita bread (the sticks will come off, but the meat seems to be more juicy), cut into cubes (as for crab salad) or grate on a large grater. Cook 3 hard-boiled eggs and also cut into cubes or grind. When choosing the method of grinding ingredients, remember that it should be the same - either you are using a knife or you are armed with a grater.

Wash and dry fresh greens - a bunch of parsley and as much dill. Pass through a press a couple of large cloves of garlic (if this ingredient you and your guests are not respected, then replace it with a bunch of green onions). 100-150 g of solid cheese grate on a large grater. Excellent is such an "execution" cheese "Oltermanni." You will also need mayonnaise.

Mix all the ingredients for the future snack (crab meat, greens, eggs, cheese, garlic) in a bowl. Spread one sheet of lavash and spread it with mayonnaise. Do not make too thick a layer, otherwise the ready crab roll will be too "wet" and begin to fall apart right in your hands. On top of the sauce lay half of the filling, distributing it evenly over the surface. On top, put the second sheet and repeat the previous steps, i.e. Grease with mayonnaise and put the stuffing. Now carefully fold the pita bread into the straw. With a knife, cut the dry ends of the roll, which, as a rule, does not get any mayonnaise or filling.

Crab lavash roll wrapped with food film, foil or simply put in a plastic bag. For an hour the snack is already sufficiently saturated. Now it can be served to the table at the court of dear guests.

Cover the snack dish with lettuce leaves, and on them lay a sliced crab roll. Too thin pieces do not, otherwise the whole beginning will fall out. The optimal thickness of portioned pieces is 2-2.5 cm.

In addition to crab meat in pita bread, you can wrap a ham or salted red fish (trout or salmon). In the first case, all other ingredients are identical, except that you do not need to add eggs. When using pita fish, grease with melted cheese or mascarpone cheese, and instead of garlic, use sliced leeks.
