Beetroot caviar. Recipe for every taste

  1. Tomatoes, onions and sweet peppers cut into cubes, and grate the beetroot.

  3. Transfer the mixture into a saucepan and simmer for 1 hour.
  4. Pepper and onions also fry in the oil separately, and then add them to the tomato-beet mixture and continue to simmer for another 30 minutes.
  5. Add the remaining ingredients to the recipe and hold for about 8-10 minutes.
  6. Hot mass immediately put on prepared banks and roll.

It will be a wonderful beetroot caviar. The recipe can be slightly modified, changing the amount of salt or sugar to taste. Vegetables should be cut as small as possible so that the ready-made caviar resembles a dense, homogeneous mass.

Alternative option

If you do not have the right products at hand, then do not get upset. There are many other vegetables with which you can cook no less delicious beetroot caviar. The recipe in this case can be as follows: for 1.5 kilograms of beet - 350 grams of courgettes zucchini (instead of pepper), 1 kilogram of onions, a little adzhiki (instead of tomatoes) and butter (olive or sunflower).

The dish is prepared in this case a little differently:

  1. Wash beets and boil.
  2. Peel onion and chop large.
  3. Zucchini is released from the hard peel and grind on a large grater.
  4. Onions with zucchini fry in vegetable oil.
  5. Wash the beetroot and pass it through the meat grinder along with the fried vegetables.
  6. Add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.

This mixture does not need to be rolled into cans. It is better to eat cold and freshly prepared. Gentle appetizing mass will be an excellent side dish to almost any dish.

Recently, women use various kitchen appliances for cooking. It makes work much easier and saves time. For example, it is very easy to cook beetroot in a multivark. To do this, you need the following ingredients: 1 onion, 3 medium sized beets, salt, 2 tablespoons of tomato and vegetable oil paste, pepper, a couple of bay leaves (for flavor), 2-3 cloves of garlic.

When all the products are located on the table, you can start cooking:

  1. Wash the beetroot in a multivark container and turn on the "Baking" mode. After 1 hour the product will be ready.
  2. Now the beets must be cooled, cleaned, chopped with a large grater and set aside for a while to the side.
  3. Peeled onions cut into cubes and fry in a multivark. You do not need to close the lid.
  4. Add the tomato paste, mix and lightly roast the foods together.

The ready-made mass remained only to cool - and can be served to the table. For a more delicate and piquant taste, you can add yogurt, sour cream or mayonnaise to the mixture. It will be even more delicious.
