Cookies on yogurt

In the refrigerator almost every housewife will find kefir: either did not finish, or forgot to drink. In any case, you should not get rid of it hastily, because from it you can, for example, bake a pie for tea, pancakes, fritters or cookies on kefir. Actually, we'll talk about him.

Kefir - a universal product for any test, both fresh and yeast. Kefir cookies will be an excellent salvation, if suddenly I suddenly wanted a sweetie or nothing for tea for breakfast. It's easy and fast. There are a lot of recipes, but I want to share the options that I have tested, which they never fail.

1. Homemade cookies on yogurt. The simplest of all recipes. We need about three glasses of wheat flour (better than the highest grade), one and a half cups of kefir, 1 egg, sugar (who wants sweeter, add more sugar, it's a matter of taste), vanillin. First, we combine the egg and sugar, whisk to a strong foam. Then pour kefir, mix everything, add vanillin. We introduce flour in small portions so that no lumps form. We knead a dough that can be rolled out. Soda in the dough, I do not add, because yogurt itself loosens the dough. We roll into a layer, cut into figures, you can simply cut the knife into diamonds with a knife, poke it with a fork for a change. Biscuits on kefir bake in the oven to a crispy crust. After the cookies are ready, it can be decorated with cinnamon or powdered sugar. On everything about everything, it takes me 40-50 minutes.

Based on the first recipe, I decided to fantasize a bit and that's what I got.

2. Cookies on yogurt with chocolate icing and dried apricots. Additional ingredients allow not only to decorate the product, but also to give it special tints of taste. So, we need:

- 500 ml of fatty kefir (I prefer 3.2%);

- granulated sugar;

- half-packs of margarine (this is about 100 grams);

- wheat flour;

- 2 eggs;

- half a cup chopped dried apricots.

For chocolate glaze:

- Cocoa (I put a couple of tablespoons);

- Butter 50 grams;

- Sugar;

- several spoons of sour cream;

- Vanillin.

The dough is cooked quickly, without any hassle. To do this, beat the sugar, yogurt and eggs. Add the softened margarine and dried apricots. We gradually introduce flour and mix our dough. Consistency of it should resemble a thick porridge, which sticks to the spoon. Place the dough on a greased baking tray in bunches and bake in a preheated oven until completely ready. Surely many of you are wondering why the dough should not be thick. Everything is very simple. To glaze does not drain off the cookie, it is important that its surface is rough. And if you roll out the pastry dough, the surface is smooth and the glaze is bad on it.

While our cookies are baked, we will tackle the glaze. To do this, mix all the ingredients in the metal container: sour cream, sugar, cocoa, butter and vanillin. Put on a small fire and stir until the sugar disappears. Then let the glaze cool down.

When the cookies on kefir and the glaze cool down, you can cover the cookies. For solemn occasions (for example, the birthday of a child or any other holiday), I decorate the cookies with pieces of white chocolate, coconut chips, waffle crumbs, fresh berries (the strawberry looks spectacularly on the background of chocolate) and in general everything that my heart desires. It was possible to decorate cookies with sweets M & M's (there was nothing else for that moment), it turned out a very bright treat, which even adults could not refuse. Children are just delighted with such cookies, and most importantly, it is prepared quickly and the products for it require simple and inexpensive, which will be found by any landlady.
