Confectioner-virtuoso created a stunning cake in the form of Prince George

Confectioner-virtuoso Lara Mason created a cake in the form of a young prince George. Of course, this is the sweetest image of a young member of the royal family. This masterpiece was created for the competition in Birmingham. For this royal masterpiece Lara Mason received gold.

Lara's cake looks the same as the two-year-old Prince George. He even "dressed" in the same outfit that the prince wore at the baptism of his younger sister Princess Charlotte in July.

What is special about this cake?

This confectionery masterpiece has an amazing resemblance to the prince. Laura Mason created for him blond hair and wide-open eyes, as well as small pens and legs.

To create this cake, Lara spent 30 hours. But she used not only different biscuits and glaze, but also steel, wood and PVC pipes. All this was necessary to create a frame.

Lara is from the West Midlands. Earlier, she already won awards for cakes, the creation of which she was inspired by Jennifer Lawrence and Johnny Depp. Last year judges evaluated Laura's work, but said they would like to see more details.

According to Laura herself, she decided to make the cake on a smaller scale this year, because when it matches the present size, it is very difficult to see the small details, and most importantly - the face.
