  • In the case of injuries and dystrophic diseases of the cornea, the drug is used during the 1st month for 1-2 drops twice or thrice a day.
  • With cataracts, the medication is prescribed for instillation in the same amount, but for 3 months. The course of treatment can be repeated at monthly intervals.
  • For penetrating corneal wounds, as well as for the therapy of taperoteretal abiotrophies and other retinal dystrophic abnormalities, 4% of the drug is injected under the conjunctive sac in an amount of 0.3 ml once daily for 10 days. The course is allowed to repeat after 7-9 months.

Side effects and drug interactions

With uncontrolled use of eye drops, the patient may experience various allergic reactions.

As for the drug interaction, in patients with glaucoma after using this drug, there may be a significant increase in the antihypertensive effect of b-blockers. This effect is achieved by increasing the lowered level of moisture and the coefficient of ease of its outflow.

In all other respects, all drugs treat well the injuries and dystrophy of the cornea, cataracts (senile, diabetic, traumatic and radiation), as well as any damage to the mesh (eye) eye.
