Common sexually transmitted diseases in women

There are several varieties of female sexually transmitted diseases. With the development of science, knowledge in this field of medicine is also expanding. If before doctors knew only two diseases of this category (gonorrhea, syphilis), today this list has expanded: ureaplasmosis and chlamydia, herpes (genital), trichomoniasis and even AIDS.

Candidiasis (fungal disease) depends directly on the location of the disease. If the infection affects the mucous membranes of the genitals or mouth, then the main symptoms are whitish-colored film dot-like plaques that arise after the redness of the shell or its dryness. If there are changes in the skin (redness, blisters, deformation of the nail rollers and plates) - this indicates the candidiasis of nails and skin.

Discomfort in the genital area (burning, itching) and the appearance of genital warts and warts on the affected areas - the symptoms of papillomavirus.

The appearance of a solid chancre on the genitals (and in the case of domestic etiology - in other places), a significant increase in lymph nodes, changes in the composition of the blood, skin rashes and damage to the nervous system indicate a secondary stage of syphilis. The chronic form of syphilis entails the destruction of the cartilaginous and bony tissues, the appearance of ulcers on the skin.

There are sexually transmitted diseases in women, which manifest themselves as an acute respiratory disease, in rare cases, with an increase in the liver, spleen and lymph nodes. One such disease is cytomegalovirus.

The greatest number of symptoms is with HIV, which causes AIDS. It can proceed as a prolonged diarrhea (cryptosporidiosis), pneumonia (pneumocystic), in the form of helminthiosis or toxoplasmosis, viral diseases and bacterial and fungal lesions. The patient has a fever (prolonged), a lesion of the skin (pustules), an increase in lymph nodes, skin rashes and lesions of the mucosa. A person loses weight, sometimes up to ten kilograms, or even more. Kaposi's sarcoma (among tumors) is the most common sign of AIDS.

The most unpleasant, invoking mass of health problems and tranquility in the family are venereal diseases. Treatment, started immediately, can help to avoid all these troubles.
