Cognac "Caspian" - good alcohol from Dagestan

Cognac "Caspian" has long been fond of the inhabitants of Russia. Due to the fact that it is produced here, the price for it is very acceptable and affordable for everyone. And it is made from domestic products, unlike many other cognacs, for which raw materials are brought from France.

Noble drink "Caspian" - brandy KVVK, i.e. is mature and has the highest quality. It has been produced at the Derbent Brandy Factory for many decades in a row.

Conflict of interest

A big scandal in its time touched this brand of cognac. The Caspian was produced by two plants - Dagestan and Derbent. And all would be nothing, but the competitor decided to break the existing technology, to make a noble drink cheaper. Always for the production of this quality alcohol used grapes grown in the mountains of the Caucasus. And here the grief-firm decided to use French cognac spirits in production .

Of course, no one was poisoned by the new "Caspian", but the taste changed. And in Dagestan, there are a lot of own vineyards, so there is simply no need to use raw materials from abroad. The scandal reached the Ministry of Agriculture and Rospatent. The result was a decision:

  1. Only Derbent plant is supposed to produce cognac "Caspian".
  2. In production, use only local raw materials.

And today this noble drink pleases with its invariable taste of all connoisseurs of Russian alcoholic products.
