Surface preparation

Before carrying out the work associated with the cladding, it is required to thoroughly clean the surface of dirt and crumbling elements. Align the base on a horizontal (vertical) plane, by covering all cracks and defects with plaster. In rooms with high humidity, it is necessary to additionally apply waterproofing, then primer the surface, if necessary - in several layers. Before laying, the surface should not be wetted with water.

Preparation of the solution

Pour water into a prepared clean container and fill it with a dry adhesive mixture in the proportions indicated on the package. For example, glue tile "Yunis Granit" is bred at the rate of 25 kg per 5 liters of water. Mix the solution thoroughly with a clean instrument for 5 minutes. If the mass of the mixture does not exceed 1 kg, mixing can be done manually. If the volume is large, then a mechanized method is recommended, in which a drill with a nozzle or a professional mixer is used.

It is important to comply with all proportions when preparing the solution, as adding any components to the solution, as well as water, can lead to a change in the properties declared by the manufacturer.

Application of glue

On the prepared base is applied a layer of adhesive solution with a thickness of 3-10 mm and is leveled by means of a notched trowel. With a large tile format, the trowel teeth should be at least 8 mm. Adhesive mixture should be applied to a small area that can be clotted for 15 minutes.

Then the tile is laid on the adhesive layer and pressed down so that the entire surface of it completely adheres to the solution. Adjust the laid tiles and remove excess glue in no more than 10 minutes.

Tile glue "Yunis", the characteristics of which allow it to be used for materials of large format and various relief, are applied in these cases directly to the surface of the tile.

Recommendations for use

When carrying out cladding work, it is necessary to follow safety instructions that require the use of rubber gloves. If the adhesive solution gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with clean water.

Clay tile "Yunis" is sold in branded kraft bags, which ensure its safety for 12 months, provided that the storage rules are observed.

Upon completion of work, the empty packaging is returned for recycling or disposed of as domestic waste.
