Charitable Foundation Chulpan Khamatova and Dina Korzun: everyone can help!

Non-governmental charitable foundation Chulpan Khamatova and Dina Korzun "Give life" appeared in 2007. This is a union of people who, long before the creation of the foundation, helped children as volunteers to cope with their grave illness. Then charity was not as widespread as it is now. Unfortunately, many people are used to turning a blind eye to someone else's trouble. "Children are flowers of life, and they can be helped" - the actresses Dina Korzun and Chulpan Khamatova are firmly aware.

The charity fund "Give life" does not have any branches and representative offices in the regions of Russia. This is an initiative group of volunteers-volunteers and donors, who have been helping children with oncological and hematological diseases for many years.

Also, "Give Life" has two partner funds outside of our country - in the UK and in the US.

Foundation

In 2005, actress Chulpan Khamatova, talking with children's oncologists and hematologists of Moscow, saw in what deplorable condition the hospitals were then. Doctors asked her to hold a charity concert, the funds from which were to go to expensive medical equipment. Uniting with Dina Korzun, Chulpan held two charity concerts. The second concert took place in the theater "Contemporary", and invited famous musicians and artists were involved in it. This concert helped Chulpan Khamatova to raise 300 thousand dollars for the treatment of sick children. The following year, another charity concert was held, organized by Dina Korzun and Chulpan Khamatova. The Give Life Foundation was organized shortly after. And now concerts entitled "Give life" with the participation of the most diverse talented pop stars are held in Moscow every year.

Everyone can help

The actress is sure: anyone can help sick children! For this you do not need to have a lot of money. For example, you can regularly donate blood, or you can become a volunteer, come to the hospital to play with children, help them, write support letters, and help parents as a courier ... There are many options - there would be a desire.

It is impossible not to change, daily encountering sick children, their problems. It becomes obvious what is really important in life, and what should not be paid attention to. "I'm happy to have met unselfish, extraordinarily kind people - volunteers," Chulpan Khamatova admits.

The charitable foundation has existed for about ten years already, and the patients themselves maintain a warm atmosphere throughout the whole time. After all, even sick children, in fact, remain the same children! They play, draw, make some progress. When children recover, this also brings great joy. When you learn about the success of your students, this can not but rejoice. Some of the recovered children, growing up, come to the hospital to work as volunteers, in turn, helping to cope with the disease to other kids.

Children Hospital

In 2008, thanks to the assistance of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chulpan Khamatova Foundation built a children's oncology, hematology and immunology center in Moscow. The center was given the name of one of the Foundation's patients, Dmitry Rogachev. A boy with cancer invited the Russian president to tea with pancakes. And the fund managed to fulfill the boy's wish! Thanks to this event, it was possible to build a children's hospice. Unfortunately, now the boy is no longer alive. Dima Rogachev died in September 2007 in Israel from a hemorrhage into the lungs.
