"Youth for Human Rights" Will Spend a Week of Tolerance in the St. Petersburg Schools.

On November 14, a week of tolerance began in the St. Petersburg schools, organized by the International Movement "Youth for Human Rights". Within a few days, about 30 educational meetings will be held with students and teachers.

November 16 - International Day of Tolerance. This is a great day when people of all religions, races, worldviews should unite to create peace and keep it forever. As the great humanist L. Ron Hubbard said: "On that day, when we can trust each other on earth, peace will come."

Educational meetings will be held in the general schools and gymnasiums of St. Petersburg. Representatives of the "Youth for Human Rights" will discuss with the guys such a topic as tolerance and give many examples of such an attitude. And in order to show the connection between human rights and tolerance, the students will look at videos on such human rights as "We are all born free and equal", "Do not discriminate", "The right to express themselves", "The right to freedom of thought" and others . In conclusion, the guys will watch the video "Unite!", Which very much likes the young people and shows them how to act when your rights are violated.

The problem of tolerance should concern every person, for the survival of himself depends on the situation in the world. The upbringing of the younger generation is the main task of every teacher, parent and adult. Today's children are our future, they must be able to interact with people, regardless of their nationality, religious and social belonging, views, behavior.

For 10 years, "Youth for Human Rights" has been educating about human rights and has achieved considerable results. But the activists of the movement do not stop and continue their activities, bringing the youth of knowledge. Kofi Annan, former UN Secretary General, said: "Young friends all over the world, you are the very people who need to understand these rights now and always. Their fate and future are in your hands.
