Pioneer organization lived, lives and will live?

The pioneer organization is a children's communist movement that existed during the times of the Soviet Union. It was created in the likeness of a Scout, but there were several significant differences. For example, for both boys and girls, the organization was the same, and the pioneer camps were more like a sanatorium than a sports and tourist complex.

Creature

Since 1909 in tsarist Russia the scout movement was actively developing, by the beginning of the revolution of 1917 more than 50 thousand teenagers participated in it. But in 1922 it was dissolved in connection with the establishment of a new system, and in exchange it received an ideologically correct pioneer movement.

The idea of creation belongs to N.K. Krupskaya, and the name suggested I. Zhukov. The birthday of the pioneer organization was February 2, 1922. It was then that letters were sent out about the establishment of local children's groups.

Pioneer was clearly based on scouting, from which almost all customs and even slogans were taken. Slightly changed form: instead of green came a red tie. But the motto "Be ready!" And the answer "Always ready!" Remain the same.

Structure

The pioneer organization consisted of several structural units, the smallest of which was a link, which included five to ten pioneers, led by a link. Of the units there was a detachment, usually they were a school class. Its head is the chairman of the detachment's council.

The detachments were part of the squad - most often in the role of the squad the school was performing. The squads were part of the district, then regional and republican organizations. The whole structure of the pioneer movement was officially called the "All-Union Organization of the VI Lenin".

Management

The pioneer organization was ruled by the Komsomol (Komsomol organization), and in its turn - by the CPSU (Communist Party). The activities of the pioneers were regulated by congresses and conferences of the Komsomol.

The Palaces and Pioneer Houses actively developed, which were the bases for instructive, methodological and organizational-mass work.

Activities

Since the Pioneer movement was originally based on the scout, the pioneer life was similar to the scouting - song by the fire, games, etc. But as the organization began to merge with the school, the pioneer life acquired a more formal significance. Most of the lessons were done "for a tick". The main activities of the pioneers were:

  • Collection of scrap metal and waste paper;
  • Assistance to pensioners;
  • Military sports game "Zarnitsa";
  • Competitions - on football ("Leather Ball") and on hockey ("Golden Puck");
  • One of the types of volleyball is pioneerball;
  • Protection of water resources (the "Blue Patrol") and forests ("Green Patrol");
  • Participation in sports clubs and sections.

Day of the Pioneer Organization

In the USSR, this holiday was celebrated on the twenty-second of April. Various concerts and collections were held, and for special merits of the pioneers they were awarded with diplomas and trips to children's camps of all-Union significance. Pioneer parades were held in some cities. Results of the inter-event competitions were summed up, and in the evening festivities were held and fires were lit.

With the collapse of the Soviet Union, this day has ceased to be an official holiday, but it is still remembered. For example, in Ukraine it is celebrated every year in Sevastopol. There, a festive procession is held and various thematic competitions are held.

In addition to the USSR, the pioneer organization existed in all countries of the socialist camp, and still lives in Vietnam, North Korea, Mongolia, Cuba, and Angola.

Now the pioneer again comes into fashion - after all, the alternative to this popular children's organization has not been invented.
