Alekseev Sergey Trofimovich was born in the Tomsk region, Alekka village, on January 20, 1952. In his childhood, together with his father, he was engaged in fishing and hunting. He graduated from 8 classes, while the school was 7 kilometers from home, had to travel on foot.

He continued his studies in the evening school, moonlighting in the smithy of an industrial plant. After school he entered the technical school, in 1970 he joined the army. The service was held in Moscow in the protection of the facilities of the Ministry of Finance. He was demobilized in 1972, continued his studies at the Geological and Intelligence Department of Tomsk College. After graduation, he left as a member of the polar expedition to Taimyr.

Returning to Tomsk, I got a job at the police as a criminal investigation inspector. I entered the law faculty in Tomsk State University. In 1977 he left the university and served in the militia, took up creative work.
