Atheroma: removal, symptoms, causes

Atheroma is a round neoplasm that results from the blockage of the sebaceous gland. It can occur in a person of any age and sex, but people with increased sweating, acne and oily seborrhea are more prone to the disease. As a rule, atheroma occurs on the face, back, head, in the genital area. The standard size of the atheroma is from 5 mm. Education is painless until inflammatory processes begin in it. The most common form of atheroma is the ear atheroma.

Atheroma, the removal of which underlies its treatment, is dangerous because it can become inflamed and become a source of infection. Inflamed formation can fester and cause painful sensations. In inflammatory processes, atheroma can be opened. At the same time from the sebaceous gland comes out a lot of pus and liquids with a specific odor. It so happens that atheroma develops into a malignant tumor, so when it appears, doctors recommend not delaying and removing the formation.

Atheroma: causes

The main reason for the formation of atheroma, as mentioned above, is associated with impaired functioning of the sebaceous gland, more precisely, with obstruction of the duct. This happens, as a rule, due to metabolic disorders in the body, which is accompanied by excessive secretion of sebum, acne, excessive sweating.

Symptoms

Atheroma occurs on any part of the human body, where there is a scalp, but more often it is observed on the neck and back, scalp, genital organs. The cyst is located in the form of a dense mobile formation with a clear contour. Often there is an abscess of atheroma, which is accompanied by pain, redness and swelling.

Treatment of atheroma

The main method by which atheroma is treated is the removal of education. The removal procedure is very complicated, since in addition to deleting its contents, it is also necessary to remove the atheroma body. Often an atheroma, the removal of which left behind a minimal part of the capsule (body), can be repeated again with renewed vigor.

Today, atheroma is removed in several ways: surgically, laser and radio wave method. Laser removal of neoplasm is considered the most effective, and radio wave - the safest. With the radio wave method, the cells are removed without incisions and punctures.

In general, the surgeon should be contacted immediately, with the first suspicion of atheroma, since this specialist can distinguish atheroma from other benign (and not only) neoplasms. When the atheroma is removed, the histological examination of tissues that have been removed must necessarily be performed. This is done to exclude any malignant formations.

Atheroma, the removal of which by surgical method may seem inappropriate or inappropriate, can be cured with the help of traditional medicine. Remember that folk remedies in the treatment of atheroma can be used only if the development of atheroma is not at an acute stage. If you violate this rule, you can infect nearby tissues, which leads to very serious consequences.

Before turning to folk medicine, consult a specialist who will help you choose the method that is right for you. So, for the treatment of atheroma in folk medicine, various means are used for internal and external use. It is recommended to drink juice of watercress several times a day, apply something silver to the athere, lubricate the formation of Vishnevsky ointment. In the case of a wound in place of the primary atheroma, juice of the plantain can be used to heal it. But in any case, do not forget that self-medication can only aggravate the situation!
