AS Pushkin, "Recognition": an analysis of the poem

Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin "Recognition" wrote at the age of 27 years. This poem was dedicated to one of his many muses - Alexandra Osipova. Like many other creative people, Pushkin had an excessively amorous and passionate nature. Personal experiences helped him to develop and translate his work to a new level. To each object of his adoration the poet devoted numerous poems. The time when Alexander Sergeevich was fascinated by another muse, was for him the best and worst at the same time, because to his feelings few people reciprocated, beauties only teased a man, forcing him to suffer and be jealous.

One such impregnable lover was dedicated to Pushkin's "Recognition". To whom this poem is dedicated , he is interested in all the admirers of the poet, because he admired many ladies. With some girls, Alexander Sergeevich had to see quite often, with others the same fate reduced only for a short time and separated forever. The prerequisite for writing the poem was the removal of Pushkin in 1824 from the state service. Then he was exiled to the family estate Mikhailovskoye for harsh and reckless statements in relation to the tsarist regime.

In the estate the poet had to spend two years, to leave the village was strictly forbidden. Friends and acquaintances to the disgraced nobleman came very rarely, so Alexander Sergeyevich entertained himself with communication with his neighbors. He often visited a widowed landowner, who had a 19-year-old Alexandra Osipova. Pushkin "Recognition" did not write right away, but after two years of acquaintance with the beauty. Alexandra was the adoptive daughter of a landowner, so she felt insecure and constrained. The poet often played with neighbors' neighbors, but the girl did not take part in these games.

Pushkin's poem "Recognition" is imbued with sincere feelings for the beautiful, the poet suffers from the fact that he can not tell her about his love. He cherishes every moment when she is near, looks at him or talks. At the same time, the poet understands that he is not the best party for a young beauty, and she will never respond to his feelings with reciprocity, and therefore asks even to pretend to be fond of him.

Pushkin wrote "Confession" in 1826, but did not manage to present it to his chosen one, because at that time he was allowed to return to St. Petersburg. After parting with the object of adoration, the poet did not forget about Alexander Osipova. He devoted a few more romantic and exciting poems to her. Only 10 years later, Pushkin returned to Mikhailovskoye again. "Recognition" until this time was not read by Alexandra, so the poet was delighted when he learned that his muse was visiting his stepmother.

Osipova received a short note from Alexander Sergeevich with a request to stay for a few days until he arrives at the estate, but the girl did not answer him. Alexandra successfully married, so she was not interested in either Pushkin or his poems. They no longer intersected or met, but Osipova in the history of literature remained one of the muses of the great poet.
