Berdyansk is a small Ukrainian resort town on the Azov Sea. It is located in the Zaporozhye region. Low prices, shallow sea, amazingly beautiful nature make this place popular with tourists with children. For a long time vacationers complained about the lack of entertainment infrastructure in the resort. But not so long ago there were nightclubs, a digital cinema and a dolphinarium. The last entertaining institution, which acquired Berdyansk, is a water park. The photo of pools, lawns and slides, made from the air, are impressive. But how is it inside? Interesting? Safely? Berdyansk: water park "Cape of Good Hope"

It was opened in 2006 and is currently one of the largest in Ukraine. As evidenced by the reviews, this place will appeal to all: both lovers of extreme sports, and wishing to quietly luxuriate in the jacuzzi, and, of course, children. Here you are expected a fair amount of adrenaline and only positive emotions. This institution must certainly visit everyone who comes to Berdyansk in the summer. Aquapark, photo of which amaze with luscious green lawns in the middle of the desiccated steppe, bestows coolness and rest.

The best specialists of Ukraine were engaged in design of this entertaining complex. It is stylized as an old feudal castle. For the well-groomed lawns, planted with exotic plants, watches a whole team of gardeners. Do not you like swimming pools because of the irritating eyes of bleach? You do not have to worry: the water here is marine. Did you hear that on the water slides people broke their heads and broke their limbs? Only not in the "Cape of Good Hope"! Here everything is thought out to the last detail. Even the coating near the pools is made of non-slip ceramic tiles.

Where is the water park?

This entertainment complex plays a significant role in the life of the resort. Not only locals tell you the road. This water entertainment complex is the largest in Ukraine by several parameters at once. First, the area. A huge territory of more than 50 thousand square meters makes it possible to simultaneously accept about 3000 visitors. The highest water slide in Ukraine (more than 17 meters) also decorates this water park. Berdyansk is not in vain proud of its "Cape of Good Hope": the maximum length of water attractions here about 150 meters is also the longest in the country. Babies who have not yet reached the age of three are entitled to free admission. Together with the payment for the ticket you may be required 20 hryvnia. This is a deposit for using the storage room. After you give the key, 10 hryvnia from this amount is returned. The entrance ticket gives the right not only to be on the territory of the complex until its closure, but also to use all water attractions without exception. There are also services for an additional payment in the water park. This is a cozy gazebo, where you can smoke a hookah, as well as food in a cafe and a restaurant.

Recreation and attractions

Visitors to all water recreation complexes are divided into three categories: extreme, lovers of bliss and families with young children. To ensure that all these people do not interfere with each other's pleasure, the management of the "Cape of Good Hope" broke the water park (Berdyansk) into three zones. For the smallest, there is a small pool with a mass of low and not very terrible slides (the maximum height is 2.8 meters). The main pool is surrounded by about a thousand snow-white chaise lounges. There will be enough space for everyone. Its dimensions are impressive: 1000 square meters. The jacuzzi is built around the edges. There is also a swimming pool. Fans to tickle the nerves will find themselves in the water park. The reviews say it is certainly not the Wadi Wadi in Dubai, but the Free Fall, Niagara and Tsunami attractions make the heart sink. However, there are less risky slides. For example, the reviews mention the "Valley of the Serpents", "The Ring of Asteroids" and "The Secret of Bermuda".

Security

The staff of specially trained rescuers in the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Ukraine continuously monitors what is happening in the basins and on the attractions. In addition, the order provides and instructors. They help vacationers to sit down in a raft or on a hill, make sure that there is not a crush, and extreme children did not go to extreme attractions. So all the stories about the broken heads and broken hands - a myth and black PR. Visitors argue that the "Cape of Good Hope" - the safest water park. Berdyansk, thus, became an example for other cities in the region.

Food

Of course, almost all visitors want to rest for their money at the maximum, and therefore they appear at the cashier's at the entrance before the opening of the complex. But staying in the water all day and roller coaster raises a wolfish appetite. And to pass to the territory of the complex with its food and drinks is strictly prohibited. On the territory of the water park there are cafes, a bar and a restaurant. According to the reviews, prices in these catering establishments are somewhat overstated. And this, perhaps, is the only minus of the "Cape of Good Hope".

There is also a night club "Sun" in the resort city. It was sheltered on its territory by this water park. "Sun" (Berdyansk), reviews about which are very positive, has the longest in Ukraine bar counter. And the dance floor rests directly in the pool.
