Veit-senior was the founder of the organization "Group of People's Will", he worked in the Committee for Assistance to Exiles and Prisoners on Political Issues.

Childhood and youth

Student of GIK

After growing up, Andrey Fait entered the Institute of Engineers of the Red Air Fleet. But for the sake of justice, it must be said that young Andrey Andreyevich did not like studying, and his patience was enough for exactly two courses. Since 1922 Andrei A. Veit began to attend the private studio of Preobrazhenskaya, in parallel with his studies he passed exams at the State Institute of Cinematography (GIK).

The institute has a rather interesting history. At that time the university was located in a normal apartment and was in a privileged position. War time
