"Amadeus", violet: description, cultivation and care

A delicious and gentle princess of indoor floriculture is rightly recognized as the Umbra violet, or the city of the city, whose cultural forms today number more than three thousand. They are classified according to the peculiarities of the shape of the sockets and flowers. There are groups of fantasy, classical, stellate and corpulent senpolia.

The result of the grandiose selection work was the breeding of a number of surprisingly beautiful varieties, one of which is the ambassador of Amadeus, striking with exquisite sophistication and forcing to recall the exalted works of the great musician. Let's talk about this fluffy beauty and the peculiarities of its cultivation.

Variety description

The violet "Amadeus" is a group of red terry cities, authored by Konstantin Morev, a talented breeder who has turned the fascinating hobby into productive activity.

Violets of this sort are unusually beautiful, they have evenly proportioned pubescent leaves of a juicy green color and a well-developed rosette. Large double flowers with clear chopped edges are trimmed with a wide bright white stripe. The maximally blown bud of senpolia further enhances the color saturation of the petals.

The average size of flowers is up to 6 cm in diameter. The peculiarity of the "Amadeus" violet variety is the first inflorescence is absolutely not double, but very large. It is noticeably larger than the colors following it, and is painted in the same crimson and purple hues with a white border on the edge. Especially decorative flowering rosette attached unusually wide, but harmonizing with the size of flowers, leaves.

Blossoming "Amadeus"

The flowers of this group are often blossoming. With proper care and nutrition, the intervals between flowering do not exceed one month, of course, without taking into account the time required by the plant for a biologically justified rest period. It is noticed that the color of the plant's flowers varies depending on the season: in the winter, the snow-white tones in the inflorescence are larger, in summer, not in the example, less.

How to grow violets?

Despite the huge number of varieties and species of senpolia, they take care of them equally. The only thing that should be taken into account when caring for Amadeus violet is the placement of the flower in a properly lit place, favorably emphasizing all the qualities of the variety and creating comfortable conditions for successful development.

All kinds of violets are light and thermophilic. The lack of lighting has a disastrous effect on the plant: the stem of the leaf lengthens, disrupting the overall decorative effect of the rosette, and the leaves turn pale and stretch. High-quality light contributes to the budding of buds and influences the duration of flowering, but it is impossible to place senpolia on a sunny window sill, as the plant will get burned and die. Illuminated windows facing the south-west, east and even north with the daily gliding passage of the sun are good options for the productive existence of these touching cultures. In winter, the plants can be further illuminated, prolonging the light regime. The air temperature of a normal room is quite suitable for the senpolia of all varieties, but sudden changes in temperature and drafts can negate all efforts - the violet will cease to grow.

The rules of irrigation, which dictates "Amadeus"

Violet is important in matters of humidification. She does not like too much moisture, no drying of the surface of the soil, no water penetration to rosettes, leaves and flowers, as all plant tissues are vulnerable and quickly rot. Therefore, the florists advise watering using the "in the pallet" method. Conduct it like this: a container with violets is placed in a tray half filled with water, maintaining it for 20-30 minutes, and the remainder of moisture must be removed, as the stagnation of water will not allow the roots to breathe fully.

Senpolia is not sprayed, but maintains a sufficiently high humidity, which is achieved by installing containers with moist pebbles next to the plant or household humidifiers. The leaves of the plant also need care. Periodically they are wiped with a soft slightly moistened water flannel, cleansing from dust and giving the violet the opportunity to breathe fully and successfully formed.

Landing

It is more convenient to plant "Amadeus" in a special ground for senpolia, sold in stores, but it is easy and self-sufficient to prepare a suitable mixture of 3 parts of garden soil and 1 part of vermiculite. The use of drainage is another condition for the proper planting of a plant such as Amadeus. The violet will develop well, without fear of stagnation of water, the surplus of which will drain the drainage.

Senpolia is better blossomed in a close container, this is due to their biological characteristics: all species of violets have a very small root system, but with an impressive pot size it begins to develop, using the forces of the plant and settling the space of the container, and then blooms. When choosing a container for a plant, you should be guided by the size of the outlets: its diameter is one third of the transplanted outlet.

Transplant and reproduction

Senpolia does not grow with age, preserving the size of the outlet provided by the view, so do not change the container to a more spacious one. It is important only to periodically update the soil from the culture, which is done about once a year, while removing at the same time weak leaves and rotten roots.

"Amadeus" excellently propagates cuttings. This is the simplest, most common and effective way, for which a strong sheet from the middle of the socket, cut at an acute angle at the base, comes up. The area of the cut plays a huge role - the larger it is, the more the leaf will release roots and new rosettes.

Leaves-cuttings are placed in water, and after 2-3 weeks they grow roots. If you hold the cuttings in the water for 1.5-2 months, then in addition to the roots, small new rosettes will appear on them, which will perfectly root in the light soil. Plant them, obeying the basic rule - the leaves do not fall asleep with earth, covering only the roots. The mother leaf is gently cut off when it becomes clear that the young rosette has taken root successfully.

Feeding

Fertilize the soil under any kind of senpolia. "Amadeus" is no exception. Violet should receive full complex nutrition exclusively in the active period: in a quiet time, the plant is not fed, giving the opportunity to rest and restore strength, without being distracted by the processing of nutrients.

Diseases and their elimination

The most common problems for the senpolis arise from non-compliance with the rules of care. Dry or excessively humid air in the room, direct sunlight, lack of light and incorrect watering can create the prerequisites for the occurrence of diseases. This applies to all varieties of senpolia, in particular, and to such a variety as is the "Amadeus".

Violet suffers from constant excessive moisture and content in a room with low temperatures. The consequences of this may be gray rot or fusariosis. Refuse to flower the plants, as a rule, not because of diseases - often the cause is a too bulky pot or deep planting. The situation will be corrected by transplanting the plant into fresh soil and carefully following the rules of care that the plant requires.

Improper care sometimes provokes the emergence of infections, which are very difficult to combat. Help in this case, domestic drugs, for example, "Fitoverm" or "Fundazol."

So, highlighting the main stages of care for the city, we tried to answer the question of how to grow violets.
