Eagles Park on the island of Tenerife

In the south of the Spanish island of Tenerife, as early as 1994, local residents created a park of eagles in a completely deserted place, drowning in greenery. The park of the eagles is in the middle between the resorts of Las Americas and Los Cristianos.

This landmark is a fairly large tourist complex, in which the zoo is located, various attractions, restaurants and shops. Here live huge tigers, lions, crocodiles, hippos, orangutans, ostriches, raccoons, panthers, penguins and different birds. To create an exotic mood in the park of eagles there lives a small tribe of Africans who always spend different divine ceremonies, beat the drums and dance around the fire.

The most important feature of the park is the collection of eagles. The park collected about 2,000 individuals of 200 different species. Some of them do not occur in the wild at all. Qualified specialists take care of birds and train them. In the cells that inhabit the eagles, there is no roof. Birds are trained in such a way that even after a fairly long flight over Tenerife, they return home at night. In addition, well-bred eagles very responsibly approach their business and do not miss the time when they should be in place and show the newly arrived tourists a fascinating performance. The performance is conducted daily at one o'clock in the afternoon and at five o'clock in the evening. Keep this in mind when planning to visit the Eagles Park.

Next to the eagles there are parrots, who also surprise people with their skills every day. The time of the show on the territory of the park is distributed in such a way that in one day tourists can see all the shows. Parrots perform at 12 o'clock in the afternoon and at four.

But this is not all the shows that are held in the Park of Eagles. Everyone will be able to visit the show of monkeys (at 11 and 3:00) and just a circus show (at six o'clock in the evening) with the participation of different animals, they are held every day.

On the territory of the complex there are a lot of photographers in search of work. So if you want to leave your holiday in Spain for a long time in memory, contact, you will be photographed with any "inhabitant" of the park, one photo of the A4 format costs 8 euros.

To all comers, the entertainment complex offers various attractions, including a rope bridge and a slide hill, which you need to roll with a special device.

To explore all the attractions of the Eagle Park you will need a whole day, from morning to evening. Do not forget to take everywhere a camera, because in every corner of the park you can make a bright and memorable picture. It will be very unfortunate if you can not capture the thick jungle thickets, delightful flowering vines, strange dancing Africans, jumping monkeys or an elegant panther. In addition, the territory provides for several special areas for photo sessions, from which the most unusual tropical landscapes open.

Near the entrance to the park there is a shopping arcade. In these stores you will be able to buy things that will remind you about how your holiday in Spain has passed. Souvenirs, stickers, T-shirts with park emblems or photos of animals, fur products (artificial): handbags, national men's and women's hats, fur vests and others are sold here.

On the territory of the Eagles Park, you do not need to pay separately for attending shows, the entrance fee is already included, except for eating in a cafe.

If you want to get to the park is not difficult. Daily from Las Americas and Los Cristianos depart buses going to the Park of the Eagles. And, which is a very joyful addition, the journey is free. From the city of Las Americas, the bus leaves at intervals of 10 minutes, the first flight at 9 am, the last at 14:40. From the resort of Los Cristianos, the first bus departs at 9:30, the next one leaves at intervals of 15 minutes, the last at 14:50. In the evening, there are a lot less buses in the opposite direction: two in Los Cristianos (at 20:00 and 21:00) and three in Las Americas (at 20:00, 20:30 and 21:00). It is much easier and more convenient to get there by taxi, which will cost no more than 15 euros.

When visiting the park, keep in mind that in Russian there nobody says: no attendants, no artists, no waiters. In addition, there is another unpleasant factor - eternal jolting. Going to any cage with an animal, you will have to stand the line, though not great. The same thing happens in the cafe: you will have to wait until some table is free. That's why many tourists do not even try to get there, especially those who have very young children.
