Aldar Tsydenzhapov: the history of the exploit

Russia is a multinational country that is strong by the unity of the peoples living on its territory. Acknowledgment to that is the feat, which was committed by Aldar Tsydenzhapov - the hero of Russia. By his selfless actions in an extreme situation, he placed himself on a par with those who defended our country during numerous wars and in peacetime.

A family

Aldar's father, Bator Zhargalovich, served for many years in the Interior Ministry system. After retirement, he works in the security service in the kindergarten "Solnyshko", whose nurse is his wife Biligma Zydygayevna. In total, the family had four children: the eldest Irina and Bulat, as well as the twins Aldar and Arjuna.

Biography

Aldar Tsydenzhapov was born in August 1991 in the village of Aginskoye of the eponymous district of the then Buryat Autonomous District (now the Trans-Baikal Territory). He graduated from the local secondary school number 1. Although initially the young man was going to enter the university, he changed his mind and decided to go to serve in the fleet. This choice did not surprise anyone, since his grandfather - Zygygi Garmaevich Vanchikov - was a sailor in his youth. At the military enlistment office of Aldar did not want to list the crew of seamen, since he had a relatively small weight and height. However, the young man, as well as Bator Zhargalovich, insisted on their own, and the young man's dream of serving in the Russian Navy was realized.

After the draft

In November 2009, Aldar Tsydenzhapov enlisted in the military service and was sent to the military unit No. 40074 of the Pacific Fleet, which was stationed in the city of Fokino (Primorsky Territory). Already in the first months upon arrival the young sailor began to show a desire to become a contractor in the future and to connect his life with the sea.

Feat

The events that all the Russian media then wrote about happened on the morning of September 24 at the base in Fokino. That day the crew of the destroyer "Fast", including Aldar Tsydenzhapov, was on board and was preparing to march on Kamchatka. Suddenly a fire broke out in the engine room. As it was subsequently proved, the ignition was due to the closure of the wiring caused by the breakthrough of the fuel pipeline.

Shortly before the incident, Aldar Tsydenzhapov took up duty as a machinist of the boiler-house team. The young man rushed to block the fuel leak. For about 9 seconds the young sailor was in the epicenter of the fire. After eliminating the leak, Aldar himself got out of the compartment, enveloped in flames. Sailors Alexander Korovin and Pavel Osetrov also suffered. The comrades who arrived in time saw that the boy had received severe burns and provided him with emergency medical care. Then Aldara was taken to the Pacific Fleet hospital located in Vladivostok. For 4 days the doctors fought for the life of the hero, but on September 28 the young man died, never regaining consciousness.

On October 5, the coffin with the body of Aldar, accompanied by officers and sailors, was delivered to his native village of Aginskoye. The next day, according to the Buryat tradition, the ritual of the rebirth of the soul was held by the invited lama, and then the funeral ceremony took place.

Evaluation of actions

Operational actions of Aldar and other sailors led to the shutdown of the power plant of the destroyer "Fast". If they could not do it, it could explode and cause great damage to the destroyer, as well as to the entire crew of about 300 people.

According to experienced sailors, Aldar Tsydenzhapov is a hero who consciously ventured his life, knowing what consequences his actions might have.

Memory

Aldar Tsydenzhapov, whose biography can fit just a few lines, has become an example of dedication to many young sailors and soldiers.

On November 16, 2010, by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation D. Medvedev, he was awarded the title of Hero of Russia. During the ceremony held in the Kremlin, the Gold Star was presented to the young man's parents. According to an old tradition in the homeland of the young man, his bust was installed, and his name was named one of the streets of Aginskoye.

In addition, the Trans-Baikal poet Boris Makarov dedicated to the hero the poem "Aldar", which was presented at an evening of memory by the troupe of the Chita tetra.

Bookmark Corvette

In June 2015, the shipyard of the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur hosted the laying of a corvette, which will bear the name of A. Tsydenzhapov. The solemn ceremony was held on the eve of the Day of the Russian Navy . The new ship is a multipurpose patrol ship, which is designed to deal with the surface fleet in the near sea zone, as well as with enemy submarines. The decision to confer the name "Aldar" to the corvette, which, by the way, means "Glory" in the translation from the native language of the hero, is very symbolic, since in this way the young man will continue to serve his Motherland.

In addition, on the destroyer "Fast" his bunk will forever be assigned to him.

Now you know who Aldar Tsydenzhapov was-the hero of Russia who, in his incomplete 20 years, sacrificed his life to save his colleagues and a warship.

He was the only one who in peacetime in the surface forces of the Russian Navy was awarded the title of Hero of Russia.
