Actor Nikolai Trofimov: biography, filmography, personal life, family and children

Nikolai Trofimov was born on a frosty winter day on January 21, 1920 in the city of Sevastopol. His father was a worker, and his mother was a housewife.

Childhood and youth

Even in school years, the future artist was noted for his ability to read literary works expressively. At school changes, he happily entertained classmates, playing funny scenes. The boys laughed cheerfully, but the teachers cheated Nikolai for disorder and lack of discipline. Because the behavior and diligence of the young Kolya "limp on both legs," the school was often called to parents, who were told about the numerous tricks of his son. The principal of the school often spoke about Trofimov's pupil: "The children are laughing, but do not laugh. A real artist. " Her words turned out to be prophetic.

At the age of 14, Nikolai Trofimov made his first appearance on the stage. The debut took place in the Sevastopol Youth Theater, where he played the role of a slave boy (the play "Uncle Tom's Cabin"). And despite the fact that his extraordinary approach to the role was not appreciated by all, it was after that that he finally decided on the choice of profession: Trofimov decided to become an artist.

Conquest of the Northern Capital

In 1937 Nikolai left Sevastopol to study at the Leningrad Ostrovsky Theater Institute. In addition to studying, he performs on the stage of the Leningrad Youth Theater. His non-standard thinking allowed him to translate bold experiments into productions. For example, taking part in the play "Snow Queen", he, among other extras, had to portray a bird. To do this, it was necessary to dress in black clothes and run on the unlit scene, holding a stick in its hands, at the end of which was attached a paper bird. Nikolai Trofimov, despite his short stature, wanted his bird to be the best. For this he asked for help from his friend. He perched on his shoulders to the pliant comrade, he lifted his bird above the rest. But one day the friend stumbled, and the savvy couple crashed into the orchestra pit with a crash. This failure did not stop Trofimov's creative search. He again and again invented something unusual, hitting spectators and colleagues with his irrepressible imagination and ingenuity.

Military years

After graduation, he was going to continue acting. However, it was at this time that the war began. Always loved the sea, Nikolai Trofimov wanted to go to the fleet. But fate decreed otherwise. At this time, the composer Isaak Dunaevsky conducted a set of artists in the ensemble of songs and dances "Five Seas". Among them was the merry fellow Trofimov.

The exhausting years of the war were a difficult period for the entire Russian people. Nikolai Nikolayevich, being a very fond man, did not like to remember the time in which there was hunger, cold, fatigue and pain. He also visited warships, garrisons, and the front lines. And it is not so important that his weapon was the word addressed to our fighters. The dedication with which he spoke was of great importance for raising the spirit of the war-weary people. Trofimov was awarded the Order of the Red Star and the Patriotic War II degree, medals "For the Defense of Leningrad" and "For the victory over Germany".

Leningrad Comedy Theater

Nikolai Nikolayevich was demobilized from the army in 1946. Almost immediately after that, he became a member of the Leningrad Comedy Theater troupe, led by N. Akimov. There he worked for 17 years, for which he grew up from a little-known artist to a star of the first magnitude. More than thirty roles were played by Trofimov under the leadership of Akimov, some of whom (Khlestakov in The Inspector General, Epihodov in the Cherry Orchard) were notable in the actor's fate of Trofimov.

Family of Nikolai Trofimov

The period of his life, when he worked in the theater of comedy, became one of the happiest for Nikolai Nikolayevich. Creative take-off, meeting with the first wife, spectator love.

Nikolai Trofimov is an actor whose personal life never burned with passion. By his own admission, there were two women in his destiny who gave him happiness. With the first wife, actress Tatiana Grigorievna, he met at the theater. She sacrificed her career as an actress, left the theater and devoted her life to her husband, surrounded him with great love, tenderness and care. During their life together, the actor felt serene and calm. Together, Nicholas and Tatiana were fascinated by the creation of mosaic paintings. But happiness was short-lived, Tatyana Grigorievna died early, and Nikolai Nikolayevich continued to create masterpieces from mosaic and to make crafts from natural material in memory of his wife.

The second spouse of the actor, Marianna Iosifovna, was an engineer by profession. Often visiting performances with the participation of her idol Nikolai Trofimov, she once met him personally. After that, they no longer parted. The couple had a daughter, who was named Natalia. Nikolai Trofimov, an actor, family and children who understand human happiness, loved his daughter very much and tried to devote more time to her.

When the girl grew up, she became an interpreter. Often was on overseas business trips. And once, spending a vacation in Italy, met her love there, got married and became a citizen of another country. Nikolai Nikolayevich suffered from rare meetings with his daughter, despite the fact that he and his wife often went to visit her in sunny Italy.

The first film role

Nikolai Trofimov, whose filmography began with the screen version of Leo Tolstoy's great work "War and Peace," appeared in the cinema not in the comic role that he was accustomed to, but as a valiant warrior, commander, for whom soldiers walked without looking back - Captain Trushin. So the actor proved his boundless dramatic possibilities, which allowed him, with comedy ease, to embody on the stage Chekhov's heroes and with the characteristic warmth of playing front-line soldiers, lyricists ...

The role of Captain Trushin in the film epic "War and Peace" brought him all-Union popularity.

At the height of glory

Despite undoubted success in War and Peace, Nikolai Trofimov, whose photo can be seen in the article, by virtue of his characteristic appearance, played the role of a comedy plan. Films with his participation the audience always took with a bang. He played in the movie more than 70 roles. His most striking works are Trembita, On the way to Berlin, Tobacco Captain, Blockade, Poor Masha, Fathers and Grandfathers, Steppe, The Circus Princess, The Bride from Paris And many, many others.

Theatrical activity

In the early 60's Trofimov Nikolai - an actor who at some point was tired of playing only in comedies - goes to the Bolshoi Drama Theater, which was headed by Georgy Tovstonogov. He wanted, like every artist, to play dramas, tragedies and other serious works on the stage. And let Trofimov not always get big roles, but each of them, even the smallest, was played brilliantly. As Nikolai Nikolayevich himself admitted, he changed the dizzying ease to a deep drama. One of the earliest successful works - under the guidance of Tovstonogov in the play "The Mesto", where Trofimov played the role of Perchikhin's poultryman - changed the opinion of many members of the troupe who at first did not believe that Nikolai Nikolayevich could cross his comic past.

Nikolai Trofimov, whose biography proves that a truly talented artist can get used to any role, gave his work in the Bolshoi Drama Theater almost 40 years of his life. He was cute, naive and deeply sympathetic in his sincerity, resignation and resilience to the vicissitudes of fate. He exuded radiant cheerfulness and cheerful benevolence.

He, like one of his favorite heroes, Sir Pickwick, never stopped believing in people. More than 500 times he went on stage in the image of Pickwick, each time with enchanting success coping with this difficult role of a man who, faced with injustice and lawlessness, did not lose the warmth and love for people.

The theater, by his own admission, has always been for Trofimov a fiery thrust. He dissolved himself in his characters entirely, without a trace, each time with a new smile, laughing and crying.

In the last way with "Cranes"

Nikolai Trofimov (actor) claimed that his name was immortalized long before his birth. He joked, of course, but not without grounds. The fact is that one day on a tour of the BDT in Rome Nikolai Nikolayevich is approached by his excited colleagues in the troupe and urges him to leave the hotel. On the street, he was supposedly waiting for a surprise. Trofimov did not immediately believe his eyes when he saw that near the hotel, where they settled, archaeologists excavated. And one of their discoveries was an ancient marble sarcophagus, on which an adage was carved in Latin: "Trofimo is an actor".

In his entourage they said that he had a presentiment of the approach of death. Mysteriously peering into the distance, saying that soon he could not see the sun. I said goodbye to my relatives. And a few days before the deadly stroke in a conversation with the sound engineer, BDT said: "Soon already," and said that he would like to see him go to the funeral on his last journey with the song of Marc Bernes "Cranes." He died on the night of November 7, 2005. Nikolai Nikolayevich Trofimov died in a resuscitation of the Alexandria hospital for a stroke. His body rests on the Literary footbridges of Volkovsky cemetery.

During the funeral, in fulfillment of his last will, the voice of Mark Burns singing about cranes sounded.
