Actor Nikolai Trofimov is a native of Sevastopol, he was born on January 21, 1920. His father was a simple worker, and his mother was engaged in housekeeping. While still a schoolboy, young Nikolai could read the literary works of Russian classics with special expression.

In the breaks between lessons, he was pleased to direct mini-productions, showing them to classmates. Well, popularity among peers was brought to him by the brilliant execution of Chekhov's joke "On the Harm of Tobacco", with which he spoke at a school evening.

Even then, the actor Nikolai Trofimov began to emerge, whose biography is notable for the fact that he played his first role on the stage of the TYuZ Theater when he was only 14 years old.

Debut role

As already stressed, the acting talent of Nikolai Trofimov began to manifest itself in school years. Is it a joke, at the age of 14 to take part in the theatrical production of "Uncle Tom's Cabin", and not somewhere, but on the stage of the Sevastopol Youth Theater. However, then the critics did not like the work of the young man: they said that Trofimov not only does not have the makings for acting, but he does not know the material well. However, the boy did not take a negative review to heart, especially since the audience liked the way he coped with the acting problem. The fairness of this point of view was proved by Trofimov's other memorable role in the production of The Snow Queen.

Over time, the desire to become an actor has only increased. Young Nikolai, along with his colleagues on stage, had to depict birds, for which feathers with feathers at the ends were distributed. However, the boy's small height prevented him from making his bird more visible than everyone else. And he wanted just that. Then the young Kolya showed a wit: he asked his friend to perch on his shoulders and then their bird would fly above all. So, the boys started to do what they were supposed to do in practice. And suddenly Nicholas's partner was thinking about something, and the young litsedeyi collapsed into the orchestra pit, damaging the drum. However, this case was not a big obstacle for the boy to experiment in his work. The next time he was entrusted to play the role of a hare, which was without words. The young lyceum so thoroughly got used to the image of the animal that he did not notice how he once again fell into the orchestra pit. The director in attempts to cool the boy's ardor redirected him to the role of the Old Hare, but even to him he was unable to stop the creative expression of Kolya Trofimov.
