7 tips for parents to help them behave properly with teenagers

Parents always complain about their children when they enter the adolescent period. However, a teenager can be a really wonderful creature - education solves everything here. Here are some tips that will allow both you and your child to go through his teenage stage with pleasure.

Love them with all your might

Love everything that concerns them, even what annoys you. Love them for their actions and their intentions. Let them know by words and actions how much you admire them every day. Love their crumpled T-shirts, their bad handwriting, their wandering minds and long limbs. All these details, which seem unimportant, are an incredible magical process in action. This can be compared to how you were witnessing the transformation of a diamond. All these imperfections as a result will lead to the formation of a responsible and serious adult, a loving husband and father or a wonderful wife and mother. It is your privilege to witness such a magnificent growth. Treat your teenage children as a privilege, not as your burden. They are much more sensitive than you can imagine. What you feel towards them will not remain a secret for long, so love them.

Listen carefully

When they enter the house, you have a few precious minutes when they are ready to tell you all the secrets of the past day. Be glad to see them. Put off the gadgets, do not waste this time cooking dinner or a phone call. Look into their eyes and hear what they say, make their victories your victories, show empathy. Life at school is really difficult for a teenager, but you should not offer your advice until they ask you about it. Do not read lectures - just listen. Thanks to this, they will feel important and valuable, and this is necessary for every person.

Say "yes" more often than "no"

The world will say "no" to them all their lives. Until the end of their lives they will swim in the stormy ocean, which will repeatedly throw waves at them: "you are not good enough" and "you can not do it". And you need to be the complete opposite of this for as long as possible. They need to lay belief in the fact that they can achieve everything, if only they want and will make enough effort. You need to be "yes, you can" in their life. It is necessary that they leave your house every day, feeling unbeatable.

Say no

But still you need to be able to say "no", for example situations that will bring your child troubles and unhappiness. Do not let them go to parties, where they will have to make a difficult choice about drinking alcohol at the age of 16 at all peers. Do not let them stay with a man of the opposite sex until three in the morning. Be a parent - establish safety rules for the teenager, both physical and moral. It would seem that such rules are self-evident, but so many parents actually do not think so.

Feed them

Feed them not only, but also their friends. These bodies grow and develop at incredible speed, and they need fuel to continue the growth process. And if your teen's friends know that you always have a supply of delicious food, then they themselves will want to spend time at your home. And this will allow you not only to get acquainted with your child's friends, but also constantly watch them.

Ignore the little things

When you live with a teenager, it's so easy to get angry at things scattered on the floor, unshaven bed, unwashed dishes. But before you start shouting at them, put yourself in their place. Find out what happened to them - perhaps all have their own reasons.

Watch the magic

If you allow, these incredible beings will open their hearts to you and will love you as much as you could not imagine. They have a magnificent, capable of much spirit, which brings with it a sea of happiness. They are wonderful and intelligent. They are thoughtful and sensitive. They want to be admired. They love very much and always understand the feelings of others.
