Rania, Queen of Jordan: the history of take-off

"Princess of the oriental fairy tales", "The first beauty of the Muslim world", "Woman with the eyes of a gazelle" - such epithets by the grace of the world press awarded Rania, Queen of Jordan. In addition, journalists do not forget to mention that she broke the widespread stereotype of a passive, silent and wrapped up to the very eyes of an Islamic woman. Who is she - this mysterious Rania, the Queen of Jordan, the most beautiful titled person of the present and the most elegant woman in the world according to the evaluation of the magazine "Hello!"?

The daughter of a doctor who lost everything he had - home, work and peaceful life, as a result of the occupation by the Israelis in 1967 of the so-called West Bank. Rania's father fled to Kuwait and started there from scratch. He brought up his daughter freely and did not embarrass her with customs that they considered obsolete or violate the rights of women. Her Kuwaiti classmates were shocked by the morals of a refugee from Palestine who refused to wear a hijab and said that it was a private matter for everyone to wear a shawl or not. And when she decided to enter the university, the neighbors were horrified. However, the future Queen of Jordan Rania believed that the mind and the opportunity to earn does not take the woman's faith in God, and everything else - prejudice. It was her life motto. So it remains.

She studied in Egypt, at Cairo University, a manager and was fond of European fashion. She was a very ambitious student and "gnawed granite science" to become a professional. At the same time, despite the beauty, no one made any proposals to her hand and heart. The surrounding men believed that she was too unaccustomed and independent, and it would not be easy. And, like their European and American counterparts, they preferred someone simpler. But then the family suffered another blow. At first, Iraqi troops invaded Kuwait, and then all the Palestinians were declared traitors and expelled. Rania's family again lost everything, and the girl was only twenty years old. I had to go to Jordan, where the Palestinians were accepted, but the heroine of our article did not want to leave Cairo. Especially since she found a job at Apple.

She did not yet know that she would be called "Rania, Queen of Jordan," but she was proud then. When the girl thought that she was humiliated in the workplace because of her gender, she left the company. Then she accepted the proposal of the Jordanian "Citibank", which was ruled by the daughter of the then king of the country. Princess Aisha became friends with an independent and intelligent Palestinian, somewhat resembling her, and began to invite her to visit. There Rania and met her fate. It was Prince Abdullah. Handsome man with military bearing, European education and respectful attitude towards women, he also could not find a friend. Submissive and consonant with all "typical Muslim women" he did not like. As it is banal, they fell in love at first sight. This is how Rania got her title - "Queen of Jordan".

True, at first the prince hesitated for a long time, but finally came to the girl to work and asked her for consent to the marriage. Rania, though she liked the offer, was somewhat scared - yet she did not expect such a rise in her biography. But since the prince was not then an heir, they decided to heal the usual, though rich life in love and harmony. Abdullah's father - King Hassan was not against, and was even happy that his son finally decided to marry. The wedding was played in 1993 in all Eastern customs, although Rania also did not wear a headscarf after marriage. The newlyweds traveled, and then went into the house. At leisure, which they did not have to take, riding a motorcycle and a jeep, jumping from a parachute - in general, amused as best they could.

When a year later Rania gave birth to a son, she became interested in the king, who appreciated the young woman's mind, and in everything began to ask her advice. Then she became a mother again - now girls. In total, she has four children. In the late 1990s the king died, but before his death he made Rania's husband an heir. And then a new monarchy appeared before the whole world. She was only 29 years old. She is now the Queen of Jordan Rania, whose photo now considers it her honor to publish any magazine. She is known for her progressive views, charity, love for the common people. It is she who owns the idea that the king embodies, as well as his courtiers. From time to time, pretending to be ordinary citizens, they check how officials work. Rania advocates for women's rights, for education for girls. About it you can write endlessly - about this amazing eastern princess. Her fame is well deserved.
