Yulia Tymoshenko who is by nationality? Parents of Yulia Tymoshenko. Tymoshenko Yuliya Vladimirovna

Paradoxically, the most famous woman in the world of Ukraine in the last decade was not an actress, singer or literary figure. This proud title is by right the woman politician Yulia Tymoshenko.

The gas princess, Lady Yu, the former main political prisoner of the country, the most influential Ukrainian - as she is called!

Yulia Tymoshenko is surrounded by a huge number of secrets from all sides. Biography, nationality and even personal life of politics are of concern to many, causing gossip.

The one that is always around

Probably, the public will never be indifferent to its bright person. Every day about it says the whole of Ukraine. Yulia Tymoshenko appears on the TV screen, and her photo - in newspaper articles, on roadside posters. Ukrainians see her face several times a day. It seems that it has long become an integral part of the life of every citizen of this country.

Despite the strong and strong-willed character, without which such a rise in the career ladder would simply be impossible, she appears before her own constituents in the image of a gentle benefactress. For many, she represents the mother, a faithful friend and, of course, a true Ukrainian woman with a wide open mind. It seems that Julia Vladimirovna is absolutely frank in front of people. However, every year its unsolved secrets becomes more and more.

And the most confusing secret is the nationality of Yulia Timoshenko.

The question that worries all

In every post-Soviet family, it is difficult to find the truth about the origin of ancestors. People moved to the territory of a huge country, the blood was mixed, and as a result, few people can definitely answer the question of their nationality unequivocally. Now, citizenship became more important. It determines the attitude of a person to a particular country, society, ethnic group.

The family of Julia Vladimirovna is no exception. Much has been said about her. Part of the statements almost immediately contradicted by Yulia Tymoshenko herself.

Who by nationality is a politician, became a question for the majority after she abruptly changed her image at the beginning of the 2000s. It was then that Lady Yu first braided her famous braid. All her appearance unambiguously began to resemble the image of the poetess Lesia Ukrainka. What did Yulia Tymoshenko want to achieve with such changes? The photos "before and after" are so vivid and eloquent that they involuntarily push the public to the national question. She was accused more than once of hypocrisy and falsehood. People wanted to find out the truth about the true attitude of the politician to their country and were convinced that truthful information about its origin would help "reveal all the cards."

What is the truth hidden by her ancestors, and even Yulia Tymoshenko herself? Biography, nationality, some facts from life and a number of publications, most likely, will help to understand this confusing history.

So, let's go!

Beginning of life

Maiden name of Yulia Timoshenko Grigian. She was born in the city of Dnepropetrovsk on November 27, 1960 in the family of Vladimir Abramovich Grigian and Lyudmila Nikolaevna Telegina.

Yulia Tymoshenko's parents divorced when she was 3 years old. My mother worked as a dispatcher in a taxi terminal. In addition to a small daughter, her mother and sister's family needed it.

Of course, there was not enough money for anything. However, as Yulia Tymoshenko herself later said, despite the difficult living conditions, the mother was able to surround all her relatives with warmth, attention and care. Little Julia grew up surrounded by love from all sides.

years of education

Education in primary and secondary classes was held at school number 37 in the same Dnepropetrovsk. However, she spent the last two years in secondary school No. 75. Yulia Vladimirovna will also attend one of her pre-election visits as a well-known politician.

According to the recollections of Tamila Furman (the class teacher of the senior classes), she studied without triplets, however she was not an excellent pupil.

Julia Vladimirovna in childhood and youth actively took a great interest in sports. She attended the rhythmic gymnastics section. Everyone who knew the girl was convinced that she was "threatened" by a career in big sport.

Just before the end of the school, Yulia replaces Grigian's father's surname with the mother's name. In all documents the graduate is called Telegin.

After graduation, in 1978, she entered the Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute. But after studying there for only one year, she takes the documents and is transferred to the Faculty of Economics of Dnepropetrovsk State University. In this educational institution, Julia receives a diploma of higher education in the specialty "Economic Cybernetics".

Personal life of Tymoshenko

Yulia Grigian-Telegin married very early - at the age of 18. Then she studied at the first year of university.

Versions of acquaintance with the future husband, Alexander Timoshenko, set. The most common, it tells about herself and the participant of the events, says that the future spouses brought an erroneous phone call. One evening in the apartment of Julia the phone rang, on the other end of the wire was a friendly young man who made a mistake when dialing the number. A conversation ensued, as a result of which the young people agreed on the first meeting.

A year later a happy marriage in the family of Tymoshenko the daughter of Eugene was born.

Marriage with Alexander Tymoshenko is the only one in life Julia Vladimirovna. However, like all known people, she is credited with many novels on the side. Such rumors are born because of long separation of spouses (Alexander spent a long time in custody), besides, Lady Yu, herself, is always surrounded by effective and influential men. A light sexual overtones, always present in the appearance of politics, seem to confirm public speculation.

However, the analysis of gossip about the novels will not help to know what kind of nationality Yulia Tymoshenko.

The popular version

For a long time it was generally accepted that the famous politician is of Russian-Armenian origin. In support of her Armenian roots was given the surname Grigian, who was born in the nee Tymoshenko Julia Vladimirovna.

Nationality, of course, can not be determined, based only on the surname. Therefore, it is worth analyzing some statements of the politician and facts from her life.

Tymoshenko herself repeatedly stated that in the paternal family everything is "up to the tenth tribe" - Latvians. The misunderstanding with the name was due to the fault of the passport staff. It was they who accidentally changed the Baltic name Grigianis to Grigian. There is also a version that the original sounding of the name was Grigas.

It is also possible that the ending was changed intentionally, in order to avoid a negative attitude in society.

The Latvian Girl Yulia Tymoshenko

Who by the nationality of the ancestors of Julia on the part of the father, to disassemble is not easy. If you believe the words of the politician about the multitude of generations of Latvian ancestors, Grigyanisov (or Grigyasov) should live on the territory of modern Latvia, not one or two families. But such evidence is not found. Such a name is simply not characteristic of the inhabitants of the Baltic countries. This fact is confirmed by Latvian philologists who maintain that the Grigianis form can only be a derivative of the Armenian surname.

But if Yulia Tymoshenko talks about her Latvian roots with pure truth, but she has no reason to distrust her, then where did all her distant Baltic relatives go?

Were there any boys?

The absence of namesakes in the territory of present-day Latvia can be explained only by the fact that for several generations only girls were born in the family, so the name was practically lost. Only grandfather and father of Julia Vladimirovna became happy owners of her.

But where did the ancestors of Tymoshenko come from?

Grandpa Abram

Yulia Vladimirovna's father bore the name and patronymic Vladimir Abramovich. And if he really is a purebred Latvian, then why was his father named Abram? Find a person with such a purely Jewish name and surname Grigyanis (Grigas) in Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia is almost unrealistic. With a great deal of certainty it can be argued that the roots of Vladimir Grigian (father of Tymoshenko) are of Jewish origin.

Armenian ancestors

All attempts to find the relatives of the politician in the territory of modern Armenia failed. Her name was very rare in this country. Only one such family is registered in Yerevan.

At the same time, it is reliably known that there are quite a lot of families with the name Grigian living in Nagorno-Karabakh. This genus has an ancient, even aristocratic, origin.

There is also evidence that Grigian's name is quite common among Bessarabian Jews, as well as among Roma. This information again shows the search for the "Jewish trail".

Studying information about relatives on the paternal line gives only half of the answers to the question of which nation belongs to Yulia Tymoshenko.

Who is the mother of the politician?

Yulia Vladimirovna's mother was born in Dnipropetrovsk on August 11, 1937, in the family of the Nelepovs. The first time she married at age 18, taking her husband's name Telegin. The marriage quickly fell apart. After a while Lyudmila Nikolaevna's second husband became Yulia's father - Vladimir Abramovich Grigian. However, this marriage did not last long. Mother returned to the name of her first husband, and she herself bore her father's surname almost to the graduating class.

This, in fact, and all the information about the related links of Lyudmila Nelepova-Telegina-Grigian. Neither Lady Yu, nor her mother ever spoke in detail about her family. Even the most agile journalists could not get more information about this.

Aunt-writer

Some light on this half of Tymoshenko's relatives is shed by her mother's sister, Antonin Ulyahin. She devoted two books to her famous niece: "Julia, Yulechka" and "Yulia, Julia Vladimirovna" (both were published in Dnepropetrovsk in 2007). They have memories of Antonina's parents and grandfather and grandmother (Julia Vladimirovna's great-grandfathers). However, the author managed not to make a single mention of their names and patronymics. Only sentimental stories and childhood memories.

It is of course impossible to receive reliable facts about the national belonging of the mother of the "gas princess" from this book. However, after a careful reading, you can come to some conclusions.

Julia's great-grandmother on some pages of the book speaks Ukrainian phrases. But neither Tymoshenko's mother nor her sister owns a national language . Likewise, Yulia Tymoshenko herself did not speak it until 1999. All her early interviews are written exclusively in Russian. In addition, Lady Yu herself repeatedly stated that she had mastered the Ukrainian language during this period of time.

These facts suggest that the great-grandmother "speaks" in Ukrainian specifically to unobtrusively suggest (prove) the reader the Ukrainian origin of the politician.

Rare references to names in the book are also pushed into thinking. Grandmother calls the author Toshi, and her very name is Dasha. Such names are unique to the Russian-speaking population. In the Ukrainian village, Dara, Odarka, Tusya, Darina are more likely to apply.

In addition, it can be said with certainty that the family name of Nelepov has exclusively Russian roots.

Everything described can be rightfully considered proof of the Russian origin of Yulia Tymoshenko's mother.

Who is she - Yulia Tymoshenko?

Who by nationality is a well-known politician, has not been able to find out even after a careful study of the origin of all blood members of her family. Unfortunately, the main reason lies in Tymoshenko herself, who reliably concealed this part of her personality.

Of course, in the modern world, nationality has absolutely no significance. Citizens of Ukraine do not even have such a graph in the passport. After all, at least two or three different blood are mixed in each. Thanks to this "cocktail" they do not affect either the character or the tastes and preferences of a person ... Therefore, the issue of nationality has become almost not important for others.

However, a successful and unsophisticated politician should be honest and frank before his constituents, including in matters of his origin. Especially when they worry not one hundred people. In addition, if this active interest is provoked by the political person himself. This is perfectly known by Julia Vladimirovna herself.

No doubt, Yulia Tymoshenko would receive a lot of positive feedback and even an increase in the political rating, if she could at least partially disclose this secret.
