Expressive expressions of negative coloration are not as harmless as it may seem. They are capable of seriously poisoning life, provoking reciprocal aggression, destroying mutual understanding. Slang is actually a social marking. A person using thieves' jargon does not look free and bright, as rebelling teenagers hope, but simply puts on himself the stigma of low social status.

The use of different levels of slang can serve as a tool for facilitating communication. The lexicon serves as a signal "I am mine," especially for marginalized groups of society. However, high social categories have their own slang expressions. They should be studied as a special subspecies of foreign languages. The safest is the average faceless vocabulary, the average literary norm, due to which you do not become instantly "your own", but also do not demonstrate belonging to the "hostile" stratum of society.
