Fairy tales - this is actually a fount of wisdom, even if they, at first glance, are simple and unpretentious, like "Repka".

Fairy tale "Turnip"

The story "Turnip" in Russia can by heart tell anyone. And it is not surprising, because among Russian fairy tales, it stands out for its simplicity and brevity - it takes only a few lines.

Russian fairy tale "Turnip" - a fairy tale for children from an early age. Its simple meaning will be understood even by the kids. This is one of the reasons that children remember it well. However, if we consider in more detail, it becomes clear that the wisdom in it contains not only a child.

About what fairy tale "Turnip"

In the fairy tale "Turnip" it is an old man who decided to plant a turnip. When she was ripe, it turned out that she grew very large. In fact, this is a joy, but the old man himself could not pull it out alone. He had to call to the aid of the whole family, first the grandmother, then the granddaughter, the dog Zhuchka, the cat, and only when the mouse came running, the family managed to pull it out.

Note that many of its variants exist in folk art. For example, in one version of the mouse is not called to pull the turnip. The family was tired, trying to get a vegetable, and went to sleep. The next morning it turned out that at night a mouse came running and ate the whole turnip.

The fairy tale is cyclical, because every time the order of the harvest participants is pronounced from the beginning to the end.

When the fairy tale "Turnip" was first published

The story "Turnip" for centuries was told only verbally. When the fairy tale "Turnip" was first published, she immediately entered the collection of Russian folk tales. The first publication was published in 1863, and not only all the famous characters were recorded in it, but also the feet, which also came to the rescue. What the storytellers meant underfoot is not completely clear.

The independent book "Turnip" first saw the light in 1910, and since then it is often published as a small book for children. After the publication of the fairy tale "Turnip" it became clear that it takes up only a little space on the paper, so usually a lot of pictures are attached to this tale.

The fairy tale "Repka" is a native Russian, but there were several publications abroad, including in France and Israel.

Different fairy tale variants

To date, you can find many different versions of the fairy tale "Repka": some funny, some sad, and sometimes serious. Previously, there were only 5 of its variants, among which one - the original, created by the people themselves. When the fairy tale "Turnip" was first published, it was written by A.N. Afanasyev in the Arkhangelsk province. Also widely known variants written by A.N. Tolstoy, K.D. Ushinsky and V.I. Dahlem. Despite the fact that the fairy tale was written by different people, the meaning of it did not change, only the style of the presentation changed.

Also at different times they created their own versions on the theme "Repka" A.P. Chekhov, S. Marshak, K. Bulychev and other famous Russian writers.

It should be noted that the fairy tale inspired not only the creation of different versions of the presentation, but also the whole ballet, created by D. Harms.

The meaning of a fairy tale

The folk tale "Repka" carries a much deeper meaning than simply harvesting. Its main purpose is to show the strength of the family. One person can not do everything, he needs helpers, and in this case the family will always come to the rescue. Moreover, and then reap the fruits of labor, then they will all be together. If you do everything together, it will be of use, and even the smallest contribution to the common cause can sometimes decide its outcome. This simple, at first glance, truth is for some reason often forgotten in life.

But even that is not the whole point. It becomes more understandable if one considers the historical conditions of the time of recording a fairy tale. So, this was done even before the arrival of Soviet power, during the reign of the emperor. In those years in the villages there was a strong peasant community, which carried out the work together. In this connection, one can imagine his grandfather as one of the members of the community who decided to do the whole thing alone. It is commendable, of course, but only without the other members, who are represented by a grandmother, granddaughter and animals, nothing came of it, and could not come out. In the community, even from the smallest and weakest member, it is useful if he makes an effort and tries to do something.

Pictures

Strangely enough, even the simplest fairy tale can inspire artists, such as "Repka". When the fairy tale "Repka" was first published, it still did not contain pictures, which is not surprising, because then it was a collection of stories for adults. However, later the tale "Repka" found a new breath. Pictures for a fairy tale were first created by Elizaveta Merkulovna Bem, they were published in 1881. More precisely, these were not pictures, but silhouettes. In the first editions, "Repka" consisted of 8 sheets of silhouettes, and only one page with the text of the fairy tale "Repka". The pictures were later shortened and began to produce the entire fairy tale on one sheet. From the silhouettes of E.M. Bem was refused only in 1946. Thus, for more than half a century the fairy tale was produced only with the same pictures.

Today, drawings for a fairy tale in almost every book create new ones, so that children and parents have a choice. When the country began to shoot cartoons, it was removed and the tape on the folk tale.
