The Tsar's Tower of the Kazan Station is a modern gallery

At many of us the station causes not so pleasant associations. Most perceive this place as a point of concentration of trains, the place of departure of passengers to different cities and countries, and also as a small caliber, a snack bar with extremely inflated prices. But Kazan Station is an exception. Its peculiarity is the Tsar's Tower of Kazan Station.

Three Station Complex

Now we are talking not about the ordinary railway station, but about the whole complex - the area of the Three Railway Stations in the capital, consisting of Yaroslavl, Leningrad and Kazan trains reception points. This complex, which includes the Tsar's Tower of Kazan Station, is a real work of art recognized as an architectural masterpiece and is called the pearl of Moscow.

During the reconstruction of the station complex, which lasted ten years, and the Tsar's Tower of the Kazan Railway Station was erected.

Since 2010, the Tsar's Tower of the Kazan Station, in addition to its aesthetic and architectural significance, has acquired the status of an exhibition facility - People's Artist of Russia D. Belyukin. For 16 years, the building of the tower has been hosting art collections and staging masterpieces of art.

In one of the halls of the gallery there is a permanent exposition with magnificent images of a gallant century. Spectators can contemplate a series of paintings dedicated to the world-famous creation "Eugene Onegin", a collection of landscapes "Petersburg Embankments" and a collection of portraits of a famous writer.
