What is the paint for a printer
Printers that use the technology of printing micro-droplets of special ink have become incredibly popular since its appearance on the market. This is due to the low cost of devices, the ability to output color prints to paper, a simple and reliable design, and a long service life.
Work principles
Inkjet printers produce several large companies - HP, Lexmark, Canon and Epson. We did not point out the latter separately from the other three - this manufacturer uses a completely different principle of transferring the image to the carrier. In the devices of the first three mentioned companies, the ink for the printer is transferred with the help of thermal jet technology, and in Epson the piezoelectric effect is applied. Let us consider each of the solutions in more detail.
A completely different solution is used by Epson devices. In the nozzles are installed special crystals, the feature of which is the possibility of being compressed by the action of an electric current. Thus, the ink for the printer is simply ejected due to its compression by the walls of the camera.
From all of the above there are several conclusions:
- coloring liquids intended for the devices of different manufacturing companies are incompatible with each other and are not interchangeable unless the possibility is specified separately;
- the use of ink designed for thermal printing, in piezoelectric solutions sooner or later will cause the device to fail;
- the cost of the dye can differ significantly, and the reason for this is not only the producer's greed. That's why the question "how much is the paint for the printer", which is often asked by beginners, can not be answered without knowing the model of the printer. And the cost depends on the composition of the liquid.
Types of ink by composition
This feature is devoid of pigmented coloring liquids. They are a suspension of colored microparticles, which are the basis of a special solvent. Additives guarantee that the particles do not settle on the bottom of the container, but on paper will be firmly fixed. The price of such solutions is higher than that of water-soluble ones.
When changing the types of ink, it is necessary to carefully remove the remnants of the previous ones from the cartridge with the aid of a washing liquid.
