A beautiful dish to the festive table: stuffed tomatoes with cheese or chicken

What mistress does not want the dishes on her festive table to be not only delicious, but also very beautiful? To diversify your, for example, the New Year's menu, prepare the stuffed tomatoes with cheese. This snack will be very popular among guests, and friends in the kitchen will certainly ask you to share the recipe. Moreover, this refreshment does not require any exotic ingredients, but is cooked quite easily.

Festive recipe: stuffed tomatoes with cheese and breadcrumbs

For several servings you will need:

  • 2 large ripe tomatoes, dense, without dents and damage;
  • 30 grams of hard cheese ;
  • 3 tbsp. Crushed bread crumbs;
  • Olive oil, garlic and salt.

This dish of French cuisine is also called the "Provencal" tomato, and it is prepared in this way: for the filling mix bread crumbs, crushed cheese, spices like olive oil and olive oil. You can also add the squeezed garlic. Stir the mixture thoroughly. For large and strong tomatoes, prepare as follows: cut off the top (about a fifth of the tomato) and take out the pulp with a spoon. You should have a kind of bowls, where you need to put stuffing. Bake stuffed tomatoes with cheese and crackers in the oven for 15 minutes, or for the same time in the microwave oven. And here's an appetizing dish ready! If you want to serve it to the festive table, take 2-3 times more of these ingredients, because the pairs of portions are not exactly Enough for everyone - wanting to eat baked tomatoes will be more than enough.

By the way, from the filling you can remove breadcrumbs, and cook tomatoes, stuffed with cheese and garlic. In this case, put the grated cheese on the bottom of the previously prepared vegetables, then - a pair of onion rings and finely chopped garlic, and from above break the egg (take a small size so that the yolk does not flow out the edges of the vegetable). Salt, sprinkle with pepper and chopped herbs. Bake for 25 minutes in the oven (at 180 degrees). Delicious and unusual dish is ready.

Tomatoes stuffed with chicken and cheese

This refreshment is already more satisfying, because together with parmesan we add white meat to it. For several servings you will need:

  • 3-4 round or oval tomatoes with hard thick walls;
  • 200 g of boiled chicken fillet;
  • 100 grams of cheese, it is best to use some kind of hard variety in such recipes, for example, "Cheddar" or "Parmesan";
  • Mayonnaise and spices.

First, prepare the tomatoes: wash, remove the top and take out the pulp with a spoon. In the resulting "cup" first lay a chicken breast, cut into small pieces, after the mayonnaise, mixed with aromatic spices, in the end, cover with a generous layer of grated cheese. Bake stuffed tomatoes (cheese and chicken) for 15 minutes at 200-230 degrees, then the cheese will be well browned, and the vegetables will be covered with a stunningly beautiful crust. From above tomatoes can be sprinkled with herbs, or serve a dish on a large plate, which should be made with salad leaves. Be sure that no guest refuses to try such a treat.
