Coaxial cable - reliability at an affordable price

For the modern information society, very important products on the market are various products that ensure the creation of a high-quality and reliable information transfer environment. One of them is a coaxial cable. It is well proven when used for a variety of purposes.

Coaxial digital cable has been widely used in many fields of human activity. So, in particular, it is used for the transmission of satellite television signals and from CCTV cameras. This is because it is ideal for transmitting high-frequency pulses. Its special design allows to achieve the highest quality delivery of any signals without losses. At the same time, information flows can be transmitted over very long distances with practically no attenuation.

In general, the coaxial cable has the following structure: the core located in the middle (made, as a rule, of copper) is placed in a high-density polyethylene winding having dielectric properties and covered with an interlaced grid of thin metal wires. On top, it is covered with insulating winding made of polyethylene or polyvinylchloride.

Coaxial cable, like other physical transmission media, has a number of specific characteristics. Therefore, it is necessary to know from the very beginning, for what purposes, in what environment it will be used, and only then choose the species according to the most suitable characteristics.

So, for example, a coaxial cable for video surveillance should have the following properties:

  1. It is possible to transmit as much spectrum as possible.
  2. The minimum of the effect on adjacent circuits passing through which electricity is transmitted.
  3. Maximum possible resistance to external influences.
  4. Protection against interference.

Also an important factor is the resistance to low-frequency interference, since this is the main drawback of such a product - it is susceptible to signals transmitted at low frequencies.

In most cases, the coaxial cable is used to transfer data between receiving and transmitting devices. It is one of the most common ways to transmit television and video signals. Its prevalence is not least caused by relative cheapness.

There is a fairly large number of different types of coaxial cables. Their main difference lies in their physical characteristics. At the same time it is worth noting that the principle of action for different types of such products is the same.

If you still decide to install somewhere (at home or in the office) a video surveillance system, then the most efficient transmission medium will be the coaxial cable. You will get a reliable system for very little money. And the prevalence and number of offers on the market will allow you to choose the product that will meet your individual requirements. This will be the best solution for implementing a system of any level of complexity and branching.
