What is the disease of pemphigus?

Disease pemphigus is a type of dermatosis, which is characterized by the appearance on the skin and mucous membranes of small vesicles. At the moment, specialists distinguish conditionally several types of this disease, namely vulgar, viral and inherent in newborns. Symptoms

Treatment

As a rule, very significant doses of corticosteroids are used (for example, medicines "Prednisol", "Dexamethasone"). Reduction in dosage of the drug is possible only after new vesicles cease to form. In the absence of effectiveness of this method, the so-called "plasmaphoresis" and other methods of estracorporal hemocorrection are assigned. In children, this ailment caused by the virus, as a rule, does not require special treatment. Most often, the primary symptoms are already literally a week later. In some cases, pediatricians prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs (for example, the drug "Ibuprofen").
